With this episode we definitely can confirm that Tabitha has been here before. I'm starting to think that EVERYONE who has been having the visions has been. What if all of this is a continual loop? Like every time someone dies, they are reborn, get to live life again up to a point, and is then pulled back to this place? What if the "visions" people are seeing are actually past lives from this place? They could also be people they knew from said past lives.

Now back to the whole target thing- Both Boyd and Ellis have mentioned they are barely hanging on- Ellis' current hope is Fatima and his future child, and Boyd has some hope knowing his son is safe, his son now has a wife, and he's gonna be a grandpa. What if the place is using Fatima to fuck with Boyd as well? It's sick and twisted enough to potentially be the last straw for all three of them.

And we know the place loves to pick targets. Here's my random guess. I think the place gave Fatima a false pregnancy (pseudocyesis), Fatima mentioned she already had been told she couldn't have kids. Her finding out she was pregnant gave her some semblance of hope (and if you think about your Donna opp theory, Donna is the one that came to her and told her that she should accept this as a gift/silver lining of all the bad ish that happens here). It would also explain why without her possibly being pregnant she is experiencing weird cravings.

And given it's the creators of Lost they probably intentionally put that in there as a sort of acknowledgement.
