mina

How can y’all watch this it so boring

Luhbabytay

wait doesn't that dream mean this does take place after Season 2, I wasn't sure if this was a straight up prequel but it sounds more like vain came to kill afterwards then he went back in time

Kristen Keating

Hello, I just want to inform you guys that the fandom has figured out several hidden message in the op such as the black and white books in Liu Xiao background forming morse code which said Don't trust him. You can watch to video for more https://youtu.be/O38mG6fWl7Y?si=0Vzf9Pi1lHf-Pu5Z

Yup, I thought the same! While the superpower crew aren't always responsible for Cheng Xiaoshi's deaths, they're shooting themselves in the foot every time they DO kill him because it forces Lu Guang to start yet another timeline. What I'm curious about is HOW does Liu Xiao plan on turning uncertainties into certainties? As far as we know, none of them have any time manipulating powers, right? (Although, we haven't met the blond girl in the op yet) The only one who can actually change the past is Cheng Xiaoshi, so my theory after s2 was that they'd try to use him similar to the pink haired brother & lawyer, or kill him and take his power for themselves. But as we saw in episode 1, Vein just let Cheng die without trying to take his powers, so clearly that's not the play either... Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, Vein wasn't trying to kill Cheng at all in episode one. He was fighting him, yes, but he had many opportunities to shoot him (like when he was thrown against the couch), but he didn't. The only reason Cheng gets shot is because he teleports in front of the bullet meant for Lu Guang. That was probably obvious for everyone else, but I'm just now realizing😂 This show is cooking me lmao

Kiara

Peak stress Peak mind-clapping Peak depression Absolute best combination

WorldWideLove2000

Yeah I just finished watching a reaction then went back to the home page and there was nothing 😅

WorldWideLove2000

I thought it was my stuff trippin

TheCapriSunKid

same here lol

dante

yo is it just me or does the front page not have anything on it.

TheCapriSunKid

Nice, hadn’t thought of that, I actually considered Liu Xiao cause of that whole ‘now the game can finally start’ and ‘no cheating this time’ with the russian roulette, but he doesn’t seem unhinged like that, plus no red eyes

Valen

This show do such a great job of showing the fear of the unknown. Lu guang just doesn't know the extend of their power and afraid to change even though he want things to change.

Naw1n

the more I keep thinking the more roshis "school for the gifted" theory/joke sounding more and more plausible😭

Butthead faxe

how come all the superhuman akatsuki know eachother but lu and cheng just kicking it on they own whats going on😭

Butthead faxe

Sheera expresses herself so well. I love it 👏👏❤️

ViralCorgi

If this theory ends up being true ima loose my shit cuz the show was making it seem like it was the kid the entire time but now that I’m thinking about it your lowkey right… the way he was talking sounded more like a grown man talking then a kid that would b a crazy plot twist didn’t even think of that

Michael Kaiser

So I'm just gonna throw this out there, but I've been wondering if maybe the person that possessed Qiao Ling and Emma in Season 1 was actually Vein. He has red eyes as well, plus the wording he used about punishing them he said in the first episode of this season, and whoever was possessing Qiao Ling said the same thing. Plus, the boy in season 2 didn't seem menacing enough to say and act the way that person did, but it seems to fit Vein. My theory could be 1000% wrong but I think it kinda makes sense.

WorldWideLove2000

you mean stressful💀💀

Butthead faxe

I personally think CXS has such "bad luck" because he's supposed to be dead and the universe is trying to make sure that happens no matter what. But that could just be me overthinking 😅

WorldWideLove2000

these episodes get crazier and crazier i really don't know how this is gonna wrap up cuz it's giving cliffhanger but leaving a PREQUEL on a cliffhanger is nuts so we'll see😭

Butthead faxe

then gon back track and say ni hao nahhh that is NOT what you said😭

Butthead faxe

Liu xiao a dope character doe he’s entire persona nd everything dope asf 😆

Michael Kaiser

They fucking cooking… I love that ending song too so fire😭

Michael Kaiser

It'll be an AMAZING 6 months

King of New York

Whoa. Great parallels.

King of New York

Nice theory! I think all the characters introduced are meant to remain somewhat mysterious. The show has been very long-term storytelling focused since the beginning (Even with the whole Emma arc being introduced in the first episode and coming back at the end). Liu Xiao was mentioned by name as just Liu Min's brother at the beginning of S1 and then revealed at the end of S2 as the guy who inspired the pink-haired brother. There's still 1 episode left but I think this prequel arc was supposed to mainly be a deeper dive into Lu Guang's perspective after we learned in the S2 finale that he changed the timeline. I think we'll slowly get more answers but personally I think the reveals, mystery and foreshadowing are one of the best parts of this show. It makes it so fun to speculate, especially since there's no original source material to get spoiled on. Since the pink-haired brother joined Liu Xiao (and probably the rest of their synidcate), I think this arc was trying to give us the necessary background before diving into them in S3. Since it's 24 eps y'already know shit is going to go down 💀. In S1 and 2 it gave the perception that Cheng and Lu only ran into the other ability users by pure coincidence while completing a job, but this arc showed us that the players involved in the events of S1 and 2 have been involved with Cheng and Lu for a while now (Especially Cheng and his father). One last thing I have a question about: When you say S1 is likely not the same timeline as everything else, could you elaborate please? From what I see, all the main events of the story have occurred in the same timeline, besides for the timelines where Cheng and the others died. This arc, S1 and then S2 all happened in the same timeline from what I understand. Thanks!😊

King of New York

If I’m Lu Guang I will probably died early from heart attack Because cxs 😭😭 love the boy but his lucks is so bad

HaNo0onat

But at least it's confirmed to have 24 episodes! https://x.com/silencedhawks/status/1870423488869384237?t=xwps6e-qBOoACwhjked24Q&s=19

WorldWideLove2000

We can cope 😭🙏

King of New York

I agree. Really curious to see how they wrap this up tbh. And nope, I haven't a clue where that rumor came from but I assume it's because people were confusing this prequel season and calling it s3. There's no date for it bar the fact the producers saying it's gonna take a while with so many episodes to work on. I assume it'll take a couple years. Wish this arc was longer bc imo they introduced a handful of characters with very little time left in this arc to flesh out properly? and then if s3 takes a while i feel like a lot of the details are going to be lost in the sauce...but sooner than later hopefully.

Mima

I guess the post I saw was deleted so maybe it is more speculation than fact 😭

WorldWideLove2000

Yeah I feel like the universe is quite literally correcting itself, and Lu Guang is just in a never ending spiral of fighting fate itself. Also, isn't the next season coming out this year?

WorldWideLove2000

Ohh really? I didn't know it was confirmed for this year. Could you tell me where you saw it? I saw some things saying S3 was coming out in 2025 but they were talking about this arc, not the real S3.

King of New York

in addition to yalls discussion in the end: Season 1 is also likely not the same timeline as everything else, but it is present Lu Guang who manages to keep Cheng Xiaoshi alive for a considerably longer amount of time. The issue is, despite Lu Guang and his rigid rules that he forces upon CXS to not change certain things, the reality is that CXS still ends up dying, multiple times in various timelines, and it isn't always the same way. The finale hasn't released yet so we aren't sure, but even if Vein is somewhat dealt with in this timeline from killing CXS, it doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen in a completely different scenario with this group pulling the strings. That is to say, in the grand scheme of everything, it seems as though this issue is completely over Lu Guang's head if I'm being honest. Roshi mentioned him going against the literal "time akatsuki" and I feel that is very fitting. They for some reason have a personal vendetta against CXS and somehow get to him no matter what. Lu Guang is trying to prevent something unpreventable, I think. Yes, he is prolonging CXS's life by changing things, but once he gets to a certain point and no longer sees into the future, CXS dies again. Whether it's Vein or Liu Xiao (or something completely random like the lawyer guy killing CXS on the train tracks in LG's vision in S2 finale), it becomes rocky and unpredictable. Obviously this whole thing is setting up for s3 (which btw does not have an announced date but assumed to be a couple years from now w 24 episodes), I'm wondering how this whole time infinity shit gets resolved, but it rlly isn't looking good for either of them. Either CXS dies, or LG dies saving him

Mima

You know what's crazy, in the final episode of season 2 Liu Xiao said the exact same thing as Lu Guang said this episode. He wants to make all uncertainties certainties. They have the same goal for different reasons and everything they're doing is probably sabotaging each other. I swear if they make me like Liu Xiao by the time this series is done 😮‍💨

WorldWideLove2000

Lu guang isn't allergic, but just making his sick voice more believable. In s2, ep1 during cxs' montage of remembering his time with lg (after thinking he's dead), we see lg petting a cat (and in the side story, it's a cat they're caring for)

Bin

The next season is coming out this year

WorldWideLove2000

I whole-heartedly agree

WorldWideLove2000
