I thought it sent Morris to make her know it's real because beforehand she thought she was crazy and the scares didnt work as much on her because she didnt think she could die. After Morris contacted her, she believed everything and started getting scared of the smiles. Now she knew she could die and she wasnt just crazy. Morris was the only one that explained it to her and it seemed like it wanted her to know she wasnt crazy just like in the end when it said she has no control.

Nah Morris was def real. Gemma probably wasn’t. No one but Skye ever interacted and acknowledged her. Even when mom came over to get Skye, “Gemma” says hey, but mom does not say anything, nor does the camera pan over to mom. With Morris, when he was talking to Skye, Skye’s phone was getting constantly called, that was probably the entity making skye hallucinate the calls. Then that night, the entity attacked skye, and one of those dancers put her whole hand and arm in her mouth, probably signifying that the entity has fully controlled Skye from that moment, leaving Skye in a hallucination. Even in the freezer, the entity says to Skye, “I like wearing your skin” probably meaning it was acting as her for while

Morris existed. The Smile demon didn't start controlling her until after she met Morris. There are a few clues that hint to this, but the biggest one is the hospital. Once she was in the hospital she went from occasional hallucination to full on genjutsu. None of the stuff from the hospital onward happened in the way she experienced it. That means that Morris had to have been real, the demon even taunted her using Morris near the end. There would be no need to do that if he wasn't real. I suspect the demon turned up on her after realizing there was someone who could kill it, honestly 🤣

I think u guys are confused with how the curse was working at the start of the film. After the cop killed the two drug dealers, he had lifted the curse from himself because Lewis had witnessed those murders. It doesn't matter if ANYONE saw the cop get hit by the car. The demon passes the curse by the afflicted person killing themselves in front of someone else and NOT by someone witnessing the cursed person die. The cops death was accidental. He could've lived if he looked both ways.

The Smile is probably one the biggest trolls of creature features I ever seen. To Itachi me through the entire movie, breaking me to the point that I choose to give up, which is crazy. I believe this creature requires you to fully give up to take you over, and it always has the upper hand. It won't even let you take yourself out; this next movie better start with the pandemonium of panic because there is no way to glaze over the fact that it has chosen to spread to a whole concert full of people. Potentially, it may have gotten weaker as its strength could have an inversely proportional to the number of people and just clapped itself (there is no evidence to support this, just my theory). In my opinion, it would be hard to continue making sequels after a third and, in general, more movies unless they do prequels and keep the level of quality without being too goofy. I love goofy, but it's easy for this to plummet.

I see 3 possibilities for a sequel: 1)The smile demon can infect multiple people simultaneously in which case this becomes an end of the world/humanity type scenario where the only hope is if the demon spread itself too thin trying to control all those people at once. 2)The smile monster takes people one by one in which case it secured food for generations (the monster kills people in about a week, there are 52 weeks in a year and most indoor concerts usually have at least 15000 seats so that's almost 3 centuries of food). In this scenario I think Morris might play a key role in bringing awareness to this thing 3)The smile demon uses all these excess people to make more copies of itself or offspring. The reason I think this is even a possibility is we saw it definitely grew from the first movie, so it follows some kind of life cycle. The first 2 movies could be this monster in its teen and adult years and now it's ready to settle down and raise some hellspawn.

Spoilers.. Two best friends ended up the only ones left in the deadly game of truth or dare where you have to play the game and survive and if you don't play you die. It would have kept going back and forth between the two of them having to choose truth or dare so one bff chose to save her other bff by making a YouTube video forcing other people to play if they saw that video which made it so there were more players and not them two. That was a real s**t thing for them to do since they purposely spread the chaos to other ppl, while this movie she never wanted to do that to people and it was nearly too late to do much about it when she finally found out what was happening.
