That said there is a reason as will be shown over the course of the series why Logan succeeds in business and in life while Ken fails. And Logan is many things, but he is not a bad business man. In business he’s about as good as it gets. And fwiw, I think this show gets right how a lot of things actually work in the real world. Like Logan said in the first ep, sometimes it really is a big dick competition.

Ken seems to actually be a human being with remorse and empathy--his biggest flaw being that he needs validation, meanwhile his dad is an actual piece of shit who actively stokes competition within his own family and leaves toxicity wherever he goes, while being an actual terrible businessman sustained by an unsustainable debt and covering up terrible crimes while blatantly bragging about influencing politics, and this guy is "big dicking" it Great show. Shows you that people really don't care about ethics at the end of the day behind all the virtue signaling.

Like everyone bullying the shit out of whoever is one level lower on the food chain. Or Rome’s weird sex shit (he gets boundary issues when his gf is in the bathroom with him then he uses her phone on her as a vibrator). Connor’s inability to be normal and his insane politics. The kids selling each other out for nothing. Ken constantly eating shit and inability to escape his family name. And Logan being a force of nature.

It was probably the only think that he didn't write on the speech, cause he was waiting on jokes written by someone else etc, like he ask to his secretary at the beginning. I think he was genuine, and it was only a misundertanding.
