She should've know better than to leave her own sister out alone in the world by herself. Yes she did realize what she did but at the end of the day it still remains that she left Jinx alone. Vi tried to come back to Jinx after walking away but was taken, I can't fault her for that. All the emotions were at an all time high plus I believe Vi was just a kid too at the time.

2024-11-05 23:41:13 +0000 UTCDang, relax Lupa lmaooo Anyway, I could say many things as an argument, but I'll just agree with Ari and Connor, and also say that I think you have to realize that Powder was always a bit mentally unstable, even before the tragedy. In addition, she was not always logical. Children nor trauma is logical. To me her renaming herself as "Jinx" and talking to hallucinations was not just unhealthy coping mechanisms from a slightly broken mind, but it was also to show that she does blame herself and she does feel guilt, even if she thinly veils it under resentment and a wild nature, trying to ignore it. She accepts that she is a jinx that did something horrible and even in that fight with Ekko she was very willing to die. I don't even rock with Jinx like that outside of liking her complexity, but I think some points have been misunderstood here.

2024-11-05 20:48:58 +0000 UTCJinx is such a complex character like the rest but I love how the show ; shows us how different everyone’s paths went even though they experienced the same trauma in their own ways. I love jinx and yes she can not be excused for what’s she’s done but her mental illness does have a major factor. She is stuck in the mentality of a 10 year old because something very traumatizing happened to her and it should be taking seriously in all aspects. Mental illness and disorders are real and should not be taking lightly and I dislike when people make it seem like it isn’t or downplay it. People have died because of things like this k!lled themselves because of how hard it is to deal with such a heavy load throughout their lives and I applaud those who got help or is working to becoming a better individual despite their past , traumas, and mental stability. This is coming from someone who is diagnosed as ‘mentally unstable’ but i don’t allow that to define me. I love arcane and I hope everyone who is getting into it can be open minded about all povs❤️

I mentioned Vi being hurt and as a child she isn't going to think rationally in this situation like I would hope an adult would. I never said you said Vi was in the right wtf? I spoke about an adult not making it worse, not Vi herself being the adult. I've mentioned in several different instances where I don't blame Vi for how she reacted, however it sucked because they both needed each other in the situation. Realistically you don't shun away someone in Powder's position because it can only go downhill from there. My problem with this is people who support the idea of beating the fuck out of her or neglecting her because of it. It was a simple instruction but to her it was something more. It's like you're forgetting the most important thing; she's not mentally sound at all. Her constant need to prove to them that she's useful, she didn't want to lose another family.

The one thing on Powder/Jinx, I think it's important to remember she isn't logical, she is extremely bipolar and mentally unwell even before the whole incident with killing Vander. So she will just latch onto anyone who shows her affection, she was craving approval from someone since episode 1 but everyone around her never gave it to her (except Vi but then Vi "betrayed" her). Silco was the first one to actually be somewhat sympathetic to her. Even Vander we see as more hand-off with her, he is more a father figure for Vi than Powder

Honestly a lot of y’all that say I wouldn’t have done that if I were in her shoes, and to that I call cap 🧢, in that situation put in her shoes means you embody what she feels ,her thought process and her desire to help (meaning you also embody her lack of knowledge on the outcome). So put in her shoes 90% of people saying that would do the same thing. Tho I’ll also clarify taking someone’s life away “intentionally”is different from doing it “without the intention” And the moment she became jinx and took lives away unprovoked and intentionally is when you need to be put down regardless of who you are
