It's possible she knew about the DPs, but I think she was surprised and dipped cuz the situation called for it. She wanted to test the boyfriend to eat with her, she knew he'd disappoint her as usual in which case he gets the fake money and she leaves pocketing it. But on the chance he did come with her to eat, she would've switched the money back and gave it to him.
