I really wanted to incorporate her scarf/cape around her neck but the illusion of having too long a neck/chest was irking me beyond measure (you can see the scarf concept in the rough sketch, last image here)- no matter what I did she looked anatomically goofy. I did a rebrand- which has helped my self perception issues. I'm going by my full first and middle name, and for a 'nickname', I'm going with Allimack. It's what my mom called me :) I just want to honor her and be the person she saw and raised. She always knew I was capable, even when I didn't think so.

Gormandizer Blyhicius

An Elder Scrolls Online Ogrim character! This was a commissioned piece.

I had a blast getting to spread my wings with this one and draw a type of character I don't get to illustrate often + played around with a different painting style and texture brush. Big emphasis on warm lighting. I'm chuffed! Had too much fun with this! Hope to do more ESO (or general stuff like this) more often!

Super Mario Princess Gunners

I'm relieved to say I've secured (some of the) new Patreon Prints for the next package coming up + something fresh for C2E2 later this month! I was scrambling for both and so I figured, instead of stressing over brand new art, why not resuscitate some old bangers? It's honestly a lot easier to produce in a short time span and gives me a good jumping off point to 're-imagine' my 're-imaginings'. It's cathartic, tbh. I'm still getting back on my feet after being in Idaho for so long- so hopeful...

Paint over- had some anatomical fixes I wanted to make. Silhouette reconfig. Color change, backdrop change. I've really been wanting to re-print this, and, as always, a fresh coat of paint was needed, imo. I'll include them in the next print package for everyone :)

So, I'm finally back in LA after my long stay in North Idaho. That ended on a heavy note, so it's definitely good to be back in my nest with my boy and my cats. I feel more at ease and more in control, so I've been very focused on work stuff!

Update

I'll keep it short. Things with my mom are bad- she's in stage 4, unexpectedly. 

I will be staying in Idaho a bit into May, spending as much time with her as I can. I don't anticipate we have much time left. Taking it day by day is all we can do right now.

I'm working nights once she goes to sleep- getting as much done as I can to stay on schedule. I'm trying guys. I don't know what else to say right now.

I'm playing through Skyrim, YET AGAIN! I'm super inspired! Finally doing some fancier illustrations of my favorite Elder Scrolls folks- in this case, Daedric Princes. I just did this quest a few nights ago and man, do I love it! This dagger is seriously bad ass. I'm super stoked to see Mehrunes Dagon again in the latest ESO chapter as well!!
