Bones out here fighting for their lives like All Might, but the Final season AND the movies should be a good last "Hoorah!" for the OGs of THIS Bones team, and Bones in General. BONES are my GOATS... But the Studio had been going through a rough pass and I pray for a brighter future. 5 years ago, THIS season would've been the most stunningly animated season in shounen history (Forgive me, One Piece). But they did their thing, despite the details. Bones Might die out not long after this series is over, and that makes me sadder than anything else.

Personally I don't understand the whole "they spoiled this and that in the intro". Most of the time it's things that are supposed to happen like Shoto vs Dabi or sometimes it's very brief like Lady Nagant that I didn't even notice until Lupa said it and even so, we know about the prisons breakouts AND the way it's done in the anime is so that even if you saw her, it was still very dope because you don't expect her at this moment

If yall rewatch the episode you'll notice that allmight was using class 1-A "quirks" from the start. The first thing he uses is Red Riot, then Dekus blackwhip + Kaminaris Chargebolt, then Seros Cellophane, Satos Sugarman + Dekus shootstyle etc etc.

That's true, but he didn't realize that until much much later. The point is that somebody needed to help him before AFO entered the scene at all. The hate came from the lack of care that hero society showed him, so if someone had helped kinda prevent that beforehand he might not have fallen into AFO's hands. It's not really about finding an "excuse" as much as trying to understand the societal failings that led to this. Nothing Shigaraki is doing or has done is justified by what he went though, but I think the message of the series is that these destructive people were a natural outcome of the society they were shaped by. Don't get me wrong, understanding how Shigaraki got here does not mean we don't still need to take him out ASAP lol.

To Sheera's point about Shigaraki's quirk never becoming "good," y'all gotta remember that the real reason Shigaraki went down this path isn't because his quirk was fucked up, it's because when he needed help nobody helped him. Regular people looked at him and went "eh the heroes will help him" while the heroes never even noticed because they were off doing "heroic" shit and not paying attention to people like him. The first person who actually gave him a helping hand was All For One, who nurtured that resentment in him. So Shigaraki is kind of the ultimate example of what all of the villains are, somebody who was just left behind by this society and who hates it for that.

I don’t know if I’m the one who found it really interesting in this season how the villains fought the hero that perfectly counters them. Not just from a power standpoint but also from an ideal/moral point of view. Toga vs Ochaco, Spinner vs anima and shoji, Toya vs Shoto. I found this really cool because it shows us these characters who are really only on different sides because of how they reacted to their circumstances growing up.

Yeah, they made a point to mention earlier in the series that All Might held OFA for 40 years, more than anyone else since he didn't have a quirk to begin with. It's how they determined that people who already had a quirk died young with OFA, so All Might and Deku were perfect candidates. Him saying late 50's would mean he got it around 18 or so. Fits perfectly.

One of my favorite things is that Midoriya once said “Most of All Might’s moves involve his fist, since I inherited OFA from him, I tried to do the same thing, copying his every technique, but that’s where I went wrong.” This was when he invented shoot style, and now that All Might can no longer fight like he used to, he has gone through basically the same thought process that Izuku did. But instead of kicking, All Might discovered technology was a thing.

Cool details that I picked up on, ⭐️ next to the important ones: - The armored suit was made by the American support tech, Melissa Shields, one of the main characters of the first movie "Two Heroes". This was apparently made canon after the movie aired when the Mid-Gauntlets Deku used last season when he was essentially a one-man (stank ass) army were shown. - All Might held OFA for at nearly 40 years as stated by Midoriya last season (can't blame y'all for not remembering, I just thought about it tho) and inherited it as a teenager before attending UA meaning he is at least 55 years old (~15yo at inheritence + 40 years in action) - The OP shows parallels between each of the main villains and hero counterparts immediately before and after showing that the Villains just happened to go down the wrong path - ⭐️ The rooftop All Might is on at the end is the near the one from the first episode (as seen in flashback and hinted at with the dilapitated Tatooine station sign) where he was telling Deku early on to not become a hero without a quirk. Also interesting that you can hear his version of Jarvis (Hercules) say "Breathing Apparatus abnormal" when he's up against the fence as a callback to when he was telling Midoriya that half his respiratory organs was destroyed in a big fight (later discovered it was with AFO) and so he couldn't keep up his muscle form forever. - ⭐️ All Might is the only one laughing and acting bombastic in this fight whereas in the previous scraps it was AFO laughing at All Might being serious possibly hinting at a different outcome than the other battles? OR just showing All Might is accepting of the fact that this fight is their last no matter the outcome and is crashing out over how the shoe is on the other foot now (All might is purposefully toying with/stalling AFO). - The All Might Card (y'all saw it, but the vid in the reaction was cut off before we could catch it) at the end was the same one Bakugo was holding when he was popping off

It sounds like that was the only thing you considered a spoiler, so I think it would have been safe to watch the OP from the very beginning. As an anime-only viewer myself, I never felt spoiled by this OP. Some of the manga fans are just WAAAAY too cautious about "spoilers" that anime-only fans won't pick up on without context. I really think y’all should react to the new MHA movie when it hits blu ray and digital. I kid you not, Bones really stepped up this year as a studio. They’ve been putting in crazy work with this series, and honestly, MHA deserves to be a contender for Anime of the Year.

They actually didn't put Gentle or Nagant in the intro until the episode where they came back aired- they just extended some of the other shots to cover it up until then. Thoughtful of them. (Main spoiler was the AFO/AM Fight!)

Loved this season and the best part timing wise about the final season coming next year is that per the series timeline we have, there is no way they can do a movie prior to the final season coming out which means they can just focus on making however many episodes the last season will have the absolute best and end the show on a high note

If yall rewatch the episode you'll notice that allmight was using class 1-A "quirks" from the start. The first thing he uses is Red Riot, then Dekus blackwhip + Kaminaris Chargebolt, then Seros Cellophane, Satos Sugarman + Dekus shootstyle etc etc.

Even Shigaraki realized AFO was using him though. He just didn't care, because his hate is far too strong. I don't think that's an excuse - and that's what this series has been telling us over and over again. Crashing out because you're upset is not the move!
