*Pike. And astral projection is a high level spell that she was able to use because she was in a temple, like Matthew said. To make things clearer, the “astral projection” was just a thing that happened in game because her player is a professional actress (and VA, she’s Ellie in TLOU) and was often on the other side of the country a lot. So Pike would just pop in whenever Ashley could join over Skype. They weaved this into the show, or else Pike would barely be in it (she was barely in the campaign until a certain point). That doesn’t mean she can just show up wherever she wants lmao

Yeah so quick recap Percy didn't invent the pepperbox, it was shown to him by that demon but it WAS the first gun in their world, now Ripley also has a gun thanks to that demon Vax is seeing visions of death because he became the champion of the god of death aka the Matron of Ravens. The vision showed Keyleth crying over everyone's graves because she is a full elf and elves live for centuries aka she will outlive them all sadly Keyleth is obviously mad because Raishan killed most of her people and almost caused her dads death.

(Keep in mind, this is all DnD 5e lore wise, which is what Vox Machina uses, not any other fandom/lore) Ice dragons are animalistic and prideful. They're simple beasts, usually more on the level of being compared to...a wild boar or a tiger. They like the thrill of the hunt, they enjoy chasing down their prey and they don't really care for political power or standing. Unlike their cousins, White Dragons don't really PLAN for things. They rush headfirst into combat, they brutalize their opponents and they keep trophies of their best kills. They don't care to RULE so much as they just like having a territory, being fed and being surrounded by shiny/glittery things. Surprisingly, amusingly, Ice Dragons will cover their icy lairs in (you guessed it), ice. They'll do this to freeze their hordes of gold and diamonds because the ice will make the things beneath glitter and sparkle. They like Diamonds the most because it reminds them of ice as well. Red dragons are the most violent, quick to anger and arrogant of the lot. They believe themselves to be the best kind of dragon. The perfect creation out of all dragons, Chromatic or Metallic or otherwise. Anything that isn't a Red Dragon is worthless...and basically any Red Dragon weaker than them too. Might makes right for them. Black Dragons are the most sadistic and cruel of the dragons. They aren't just evil, they're MONSTERS. A red dragon will burn you alive, a green will kill you with poison, but a black dragon wants you to suffer for no other reason than it likes it. Green Dragon's don't just toy with people, they're the SMARTEST of the Chromatic Dragons. They're the weakest, physically, but they're the smartest mentally. They are the masterminds, the rogues, the ones who have the most laid out plans and back up plans. They're the most charismatic and devilish of the Chromatic Dragons. They'll actively make deals, lie to you, charm you into thinking they're on your side...until they aren't. Blue Dragons are, arguably, the most human of the Chromatic Dragons. They are greedy and selfish and prideful to a fault and are willing to fight even stronger opponents if they cross into their territory, including other dragons. But...Blue Dragons are also willing to make genuine deals with people. Stroke their ego, give them gold or food and you can genuinely make a pact to live peacefully with a Blue Dragon as a neighbor to your city. They lack the cruelty of Black Dragons (usually) and the ambition of Red/Green Dragons (usually. Again, they're still evil so they're just as likely to turn on you for a better deal (or any number of other reasons), but they're arguably the most 'reasonable' of the Chromatic Dragons. Chromatic Dragons generally are defined, obviously, by their Chromatic Colors. Red, Blue, Black, Green and White. They're also far more aggressive, generally always evil and have only a few things in common. They're all arrogant and prideful, they're all selfish, they all want wealth and power to some degree and they are NEVER to be fully trusted. And of course, they all have their preferred biomes.

remember, guns aren't a thing in this world, Percy is the inventor. when we met Ripley in season 1, we saw a messed up protoype in her bag, which Percy improved and is now the gun he uses. So hearing any form of gunshot is automatically a wild thing, because they don't expect anyone else to have a weapon like that. which would also explain why people don't know to get out of the way when they see one

So a few things this episode, a lot of what is going on is brand new stuff that is using pieces of the Live show. It is generally following the Live show, but the animation is taking liberties in changing quite a lot these 3 episodes and honestly, they do a lot of cool stuff while keeping it pretty close to the original. The gold thing for dragons, especially Red dragons is a Greed and Vain attribute they have. They love having massive hordes of treasure as it fuels their greedy nature. Last thing, you guys kinda realized by the end but the Pepperbox is the name of Percy's gun which Ripley who is from Season 1 and 2 is also like Percy with crafting guns. It has been a longer wait time since the last season so I don't blame you guys for forgetting some of that stuff.

About Vax’s vision when he and Keyleth kissed, that was one of the potential fates for Keyleth that the Matron chose to show him, and it doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with what’s going on with the dragons. As a druid, Keyleth can potentially extend her lifespan by centuries. Even full-blooded elves only live for 300 years or so. So the possibility that Keyleth will be left alone centuries after everyone else has died is very real. As for why the Matron showed him that, she probably wanted to warn him that they should choose the path their relationship takes carefully.

Fun fact, since someone left some lore about fire dragons, here's some about Ice Dragons (Which is what Vorugal is): Ice Dragons are the best hunters of the Dragons! Thats why he was the one to sniff out Vax hiding and not Thordak, despite Thordak being giga-buffed. Ice Dragons are the least intelligent of the dragons, running more on instinct and a desire to fight challenging prey, rather than any grander foresight or plans. Ice Dragons have exceptional long-term memory...and hold a grudge.
