2024-09-30 05:40:28 +0000 UTCI can’t stand yuri for the reason of just being a plain murderer nooo lesson at all just plain anger and revenge

2024-09-29 02:25:18 +0000 UTCNot really it’s that as they said it’s no reason or lesson being learnt it continues which defeats the purpose of what nanno is doing

2024-09-29 02:24:21 +0000 UTCAfter watching it all the end discussion captured my feelings, I definitely understand why people say Yuri is revenge and Nanno is karma/temptation now. Nanno "puts a battery in people's back" but she does it in nonviolent ways. I don't believe she's ever physically harmed anyone. That dude who got pregnant learned something. And while he forever lived with the consequences, he understood his wrongdoings. Yuri just killed a dog and seems to have gotten Kaye murdered. Nothing was learned, especially not by Yuri.

2024-09-28 02:52:47 +0000 UTCI'm sorry, Nanno smug face be killing me Kaye: "As you know, someone recorded us... Phones! Now!" Nanno, getting ready to send everyone his hazing video: 😏😏😏

2024-09-28 02:22:29 +0000 UTCWhen you think about it, it actually makes a lot of sense that to Yuri (Revenge) thinks Nanno (Karma) takes too long. Karma takes time. It's something people say will happen eventually. Revenge on the other hand is something action based, something a person makes happen.

2024-09-27 15:53:29 +0000 UTCThe thing is that Nanno still ultimately believes in the potential for human beings to learn and change — not to say that she’s a “good” or “optimistic” being, clearly — but Yuri straight up does not lmao. The end discussion was actually a huge reason why this episode didn’t sit well with me the first time I watched it.

2024-09-26 19:56:44 +0000 UTCNanno makes people squirm. And even puts them through cruel and unusual punishment. Yuri be like "Clap!" 👏

2024-09-25 06:50:36 +0000 UTCWhat im gathering is that this Yuri character is divisive! I personally like that she's a wild card, and it seems like the hate to her is that she's too good at playing the wild card which annoys people

2024-09-25 06:49:25 +0000 UTCI actually like Yuri cause she's hollow, like that's what revenge is to most people and the kind we often see

2024-09-24 15:05:09 +0000 UTCYuri just wants them to die but at least nanno gives people a chance to not be trash and own up cuz honestly i felt like he would have changed but maybe im delusional

2024-09-23 07:43:17 +0000 UTCI may be wrong but I feel like nanno has not deleted a human/animal and blamed it on somebody else. I think nanno does the slow burn for it to sink more of what actually happened and why karma is happening to them. P.S I am enjoying the series with you guys.

2024-09-23 05:04:03 +0000 UTCI read your comment before watching the episode. Nah fuck that nigga,🤣 it's only now just hitting me how petty Nanno is. Every time she's killed she lays there making them go through all the bullshit you'd have to deal with when you're trying to cover up a murder. Like the disposal of her corpse, she's fully aware of her surroundings the entire time. People have to carry her body around clean up all the blood and she could get up anytime she wants it's really funny.

2024-09-22 13:01:14 +0000 UTCThat's crazy I've never heard of this. It sounds like a perpetual cycle of abuse, I can only imagine the stories that went terribly wrong.

2024-09-22 12:45:10 +0000 UTCI don’t think Nanno purposely created Yuri.

2024-09-21 19:15:17 +0000 UTCI will say in Nanno’s defense she didn’t kill that little girl she ran into the street without looking…. Nanno wasn’t driving the vehicle that hit her, it was series of bad choices on her father’s part, that led to that unfortunate situation.

2024-09-21 08:25:13 +0000 UTCNanno upset that Yuri killed a dog like she didn't get a whole middle school girl killed just to get at her father in S1 Ep 1.
Mad4Life
2024-09-21 07:42:34 +0000 UTCPersonally, i dislike Yuri so much. As others have said, she learned nothing from her own death and went into being a perpetrator IMMEDIATELY after. Nanno's way is slow but just like Karma, it comes full circle whereas Yuri's revenge is extremely hollow

2024-09-21 00:55:54 +0000 UTCMy confession is that I actually can’t stand Yuri and think she’s the weakest part of the season lmao — at least, the way they wrote her. There were so many interesting roles and dynamics she could’ve fit into but just comes off looking like this naive ass little girl. It’s not a proper mentor/protégée dynamic because she’s tryna be an opp (which I actually think could’ve worked well in a third season with some buildup), but she’s not smarter or more cunning than Nanno either, so it falls flat in THAT aspect, too.

2024-09-20 22:03:44 +0000 UTCWould have agreed if she was a more interesting and complex character.

2024-09-20 20:55:20 +0000 UTCreally enjoyed this reaction. when I first watched this episode, I kind of felt (just a really teeny tiny bit) sorry for Kaye, especially toward the end. at first I felt no remorse whatsoever, since he literally committed murder, but when i saw him all malnourished and barely able to run, limbs just flinging anyhow lmaoo, i kind of felt bad. but anyway! thanks for the reaction, i really enjoyed it. And as always i have to recommend weightlifting fair kim bokjoo, it's a wonderful drama
Moonie
2024-09-20 20:49:36 +0000 UTCYuri seems to forget SHE didn't learn a lesson. She went from victim to becoming the perpetrator. Her method reflects her personality in episode 4, self centered.

2024-09-20 20:38:45 +0000 UTC"Yuri ain't gonna learn shit" truer words have never been spoken

2024-09-20 20:29:08 +0000 UTCSOTUS (Seniority, Order, Tradition, Unity, Spirit). It’s a common form of hazing in Thailand in schools and universities. It’s supposed to build unity within the class but there’s lots of cases where things go very wrong. I don’t think this episode is based on particular case but is more of a commentary on SOTUS as a whole. Everything in this episode are forms of hazing that articles have been written about or people on the GFN team have experienced themselves (minus the death).
