Thinking on it more, this season of anime especially highlighted the issues for this season of ToG. What I mean is there only 2-5ish standout anime this season, with ToG being marketed as one of the super highlights besides ONK S2, which is honestly a lot lower number than majority of other seasons. This puts all eyes in the top shows, which highlights issues if there are major ones like here. Even the terrible shows with no fucking plot like Wistoria, have better animation and care than ToG (which is supposed to be a top show), let alone than ONK S2 which is popping off animation wise. If this was maybe released in spring instead of summer (definitely not fall, as that's way too stacked with good shows) , it might have had a better chance where it didn't need to shine more than usual 😅.

It seems everyone doesn't like this season because of the bad animation. It didn't really bother me until the 360 spin. I'm guessing it's not /totally/ bothering me because I'm not a Manhwa reader, but I totally understand why it would. As someone who reads the manga for One Punch Man, it absolutely astounds me how that shit isn't animated by the best of the best studios with how angelically beautiful the manga art is. It feels like a crime, especially the 2nd season.

I feel like they should be more willing to drop a series after reaching its halfway point or at least do a poll on whether or not they should continue. If both the reactors and the audience are checked out then what is the point of continuing. There is no reason to keep letting L anime, such as, Ninja Kamui, Slime S3, and now TOG take up valuable reaction slots.

I don't think I can take another viole mid fight 360 with whack fireball & slash effects that can't even beat the animation on my OLD Gameboy advance lol I actually went and found some read alongs with the webtoon and that was 100x better than this. The anime really didn't do the mangwha justice. They should have had a bigger studio do it. It really sucks seeing something you adore not given the attention it deserves. Imo, the anime for season 2 isn't horrible, it's just meh. I get they wanted to condense some stuff, but you can't condense things to the point it makes no sense. A lot of people don't have the patience to sit through one or two seasons of buildup to something huge, so they may have felt pressured to hurry it along. But they could have done a much better job. I'm hoping they'll do better later in the season. Season 1 was fire.

Or she’ll use him to become the leader or something. She may use others too, since they made it a point to mention through Khun’s speech a few episodes ago that his team isn’t supposed to get close to her.

Not at all. I'm about 300 chapters in and while the art has gotten a lot better, it is nowhere near as good as people make it out to be. It is on the lower end of webtoons that I have read. Not even close to Solo leveling either.

Absolutely, majority of tower of god fans will agree that tower of god season 2 (300+ chapters btw) was TOG's story at its peak. Absolutely recommend giving it a read, the anime for TOG hasn't been a great adaptation from the start, but season 2 is a fall off that needs to be studied.
