They didn't explain it well but Mazino used less than 1% of his actual strength against Baam. He would've went all out against his teacher. And yes, Mazino is ranked 4th in the entire tower in power level right behind King Jahad who is ranked 3rd.

Coz unlike other webtoon/manhwa like Solo Leveling this shit is legendary but it's never ending. And it's not popular enough anime wise to end up like One Piece

I think the episode here kind of undersold the importance of the new two (currently) side characters that appeared. They are top-tier beasts in their own right. The worst thing they can do, but I see it happening, is start the workshop arc at the very end, the season's last two episodes or so. With its size, that arc can truly be split into two seasons at least.

Rankers are like Gods to regulars and High Rankers are like Gods to normal Rankers. Since high Rankers make up only 1 percent of the whole towers inhabitants. So when Urek said it’ll take one thousand Rankers vs him to make the fight fair he wasn’t lying

As a reminder karaka is a Ranker and Slayer of Fug (bam is a slayer candidate) so it makes sense that he has his own underlings who are loyal to him exclusively.

Yes time skips do happen a lot in the show, but there is still normal training and ass pull power ups as well. 2. Urek Mazino is literally one of the strongest people in the tower on the same level as King Jahad to an extent, but unsure if his actual rank was mentioned previously so I won't say it yet 3. Wasn't mentioned in the episode, but mentioned in the manwha during this fight, but an Opera is the strongest lighthouse in the Tower, and there are 3 of them in existence. 4. That 10 second scene of Karaka talking to his master with his **right hand up**, while glossed over in this reaction due to bad animation, is a very big plot point for the future. Please look at that scene for yourself if you want to know what I mean.
