One of Vash's very gruesome character features I remember from the OG anime. Nice to see a bit of clown Vash peek through the serious nature of the show with him sneezing like that. lol

Stampede actually tunes down on how bad they are, Vash looks like a fuckin corpse with how wounded he is in the original manga (and somewhat the og anime). When Stampede was first previewed, many people hated and still hate Roberto for "replacing" Milly Thompson, Meryl's partner in the source material. I originally was upset with the switch up, but immediately grew to like Roberto because he filled the role of that wise mentor figure that the quartet needed. His death actually made me cry first watching, because his and Meryl's bond was so nice and fresh imo. Roberto dying here was obvious to og fans of both the manga and the original show. Meryl in both was already mature and had her own backstory that never really got addressed, outside her having an old mentor figure who gave her what would become her derringers and died. Roberto being featured with Derringers and Meryl being younger and more "naive" was little nods towards her barely there backstory. Can't wait for the last two episodes!!! So excited :]! Edit: Switched two of my paragraphs around bc spoilers were visible before the read more, my bad!
