Did y'all watch Parasite? It goes over the same rich and poor dynamics as this episode. As well as involving a family that works together to scam people. Won the Academy Award a few years ago for best movie. The end of this episode reminded me of that movie

You are correct, yup. This show aims to take jabs at societal issues in Thailand by making an exaggerated (mostly) depiction of weird things that people in Thailand do. In this case, it is the importance of image and power in Thailand. People with money and influence can take control of so many things, those things can be as significant as electing a president (but I guess that is not only in Thai, lol), and that some people in Asia actually go broke trying to appear fancy on social media in order to attract rich people either for connections or just clout. As a Thai myself, I would say that these episodes portray accurate and problematic issues in my country but with good intentions of raising awareness to them.

I'm starting to understand what this series is about. It's an "educational" series where the viewers are the third party that Nanno REALLY educates from her actions through her targets. It's as if Nanno is saying, "This is how things turn out when you have the resources to follow a bad path." Nanno is the storyteller with her actual target being the audience, and her victims are the story.

I thought this was kinda weird because you would think he would say “Do you know how much your parents love you,” or something like that. The safest part to shoot would have probably have been the edge of a thigh or something. Or even through the bicep. Roshi was right though. Revolvers usually don't cause exit wounds. Exit wounds are actually safer because that usually takes just stitches to heal up. A revolver has HIGH "stopping power" (if there a high caliber or hollow point round in the chamber). Meaning it not only would feel like the hardest punch in the world, but it can also cause the arm to explode at a point blank range like that.

Legends of Tomorrow's main story isn't bad. It's the fillers that bog it down. One problem that all Arrowverse shows have is they have fillers that feel non-canon that make the seasons feel long. Arrow and Flash's fillers are pretty good. Legends of Tomorrow's fillers feel boring most of the time

I know this probably doesn't mean anything to the plot, but I found it funny that one of Dino's rich kid friends mentioned how they really wanted Congee (Rice porridge) like it was some sort of delicacy, and in the end of the episode Dino is eating Congee with his family (Congee/Jook is very cheap to make. It's rice, chicken stock, ginger, salt, and optional meat. 1000 year old egg works good too. The ginger actually neutralizes the funk from the 1000 year old egg). I like to put a bit of MSG, Shoxing wine, and Sesame oil in when I cook it. It tastes very good, even though it looks like "everything the body needs" from the Matrix. It's nothing fancy and even the poorest families eat it on the regular because it's so cheap to make; yet it tastes good if you do it right (a pinch of ham bouillon is something I add for seasoning too). 🥣

That's what tripped me out. Most of them chose to shoot themselves in like the elbow joint right in the middle like come on. I think Nanno is like the devil or something? Her "temptations" remind me of the Snake in the Garden if Eden. Most notably here, but also in all her other temptations so far, her bargains are all "Faustian Bargains" which is a signature of Satan. This episode's Faustian bargain was sick and stressful. Personally I agree with what Roshi was saying. Everyone has a price and it’s clear that the relationship between the son and the parents will never return to normal BUT it was basically said by the dad that if the son ever decided to something like this again and it involves money then they would want to be apart of it no matter the situation. Also the speech the dad gave about hardworking etc is basically null and void since it seems that his wife and himself are interested in getting easy money (maybe not all the time but probably when there’s a lot on the table based on his ending statement). Anyways great reaction and i think the episodes just get better so im looking forward to the other eps! :)
