The Bear 3x8

Feel like im giving birth

Comments

I think Lupa had a similar-ish relationship to his parents or whoever, that Carmy and Natalie have with their mother. Idk for sure though, that’s just what I’m getting from these years I’ve been watching them. I know I def had/have a similar situation with my parents.

EJ Katt

This was probably my favorite episode of the season. The decision to have it be 45 minutes of just the two of them was daring, and the acting was incredible. I felt like I was watching an incredibly personal moment between two real people. Also it was great they gave the Fak brothers a moment to be normal at the end lol

Magical Drinking

You having the Teddy McDonald pfp makes this better 😭 cause cook can mean cook crack as well lol

User100

Ik they not actually related but they did a great job casting Carmy and Sugar as siblings they look a lot alike at times

JotaroDrake

Think they said they don't do vods on twitch to keep from getting clapped

Paulothy

Carmy whole life is just chaos lmao

Kareem Davis

Can’t wait to see them reacting to supacell…. FINNA BE HYPE!

Jamal Saint Day

Sheera reacting the same way i did during this episode lmaoooo. kudos to the directors of the show for making this feel the most real when it comes to labor shit on TV. had me getting PTSD from my own labor golly

Jazmyne Mattucci

I'm not crying, you're crying. Also, I'm crying.

East_Coast_Overseer

Nahh when Pete hugged Donna 😭 This was a tough watch but an amazing episode. Kudos to y'all, especially Sheera, for this reaction. They were basically like hey, you know how we're really good at making you almost feel like you're IN the kitchen with the cast? What if... with childbirth! lol

A. P.

I almost got up and tried to go to the vending machines while watching this shit, forgot I was at home and not at the hospital lol Sheesh... Mothers out there πŸ‘πŸΎ

A. P.

yk Lupa stressed when he’s dead quiet the whole ep 😭😭

Amani

Also no one answered because they had made a non negotiable to start putting phones in lockers, the only ones who knew where Nat was were the Faks and you already know they probably forgot πŸ’€

Matt

In a way sugar had a bun in the oven the whole ep so technically we did cook

Imari

Jamie lee is golden i love her

Reckless Company

This definitely contender for my favorite episode. They stood in a single room majority of the time and I was locked in the entire episode 😭

Matt

You know, I told my girlfriend I want to have kids one day. After watching this I was like, "Mm, maybe adopting is better."

AutumnOnFire

I loved seeing Sheera’s perspective on this ep frfr

Khayta

Roshi β€œain’t no birth plan just SURVIVE” 😭😭

Khayta

Lupa with β€œCan we cook?!” WAS ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS

Khayta

Mothers are fucking goats for the shit they do just to give us life🀧🀧🀧. Shoutout to Sheera man

Onyekachi Nkenke

I skipped this episode when I was binging and I was right to 🀣 and I knew immediately this would be the episode where Sheera would be super active πŸ’€

212

It probably wasn’t intentional by Donna, but the absurdity/embarrassment of that line is kinda what Nat needed at the moment to take her mind off things.

Robert

wow my fav episode this season, great reaction, i felt sheera's pain

Nancy Raha

lupa called where she wa gonna be lmao

Guav

In a way though, it was a blessing in disguise that Carmy/Richie turned off and confiscated everyone's phones, because it allowed not only Sugar to reconnect with Donna, but also Donna being able to have some growth herself after running away from most of her problems. I was afraid early in the ep when she picked up where she left off all up in the BS again, with all the "Hee" mess. πŸ˜‚ 😒

J Man

Lupa: Man, Can we cook? Where tha food at? Also Lupa: Can I get a beef sandwich at least? πŸ₯ͺ Lupasan = The voice of the Everyman (I totally agree that this was a different kind of stressful episode)

J Man

Are u guys uploading the twitch vod for the baby reindeer streams?

Ernest Moran

One of Carmy’s nonnegotiables was no phones during service which would explain why the Faks said the phones were down

Adrian Neal

It can be. How long labour lasts can vary wildly.

poisonivybag

Can we cook? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Teddy McDonald

Durarara day 34

Monotone Type-F

Sheera... After further review of this episode... You are a goat cause giving birth is fucked

mondawmin mall

just a reminder that theres a rule at the bear by carmy that nobody has their phones during service. one of the non-negotiables

PJ Winnie

Surprisingly the most calm episode

xProKnockz

its really like that for 20hrs?

Austin S

Sugar fearing Pete will leave her is hilarious cause bro would literally cut his own legs off before he’d walk out of her life πŸ˜‚

Ricky Pereira

Jamie Lee Curtis might deserve a cameo Emmy for this (between her and Jon Burnthal, The Bear really makes their cameos count. Even John Cena was good as a random Fak).

J Man

I absolutely loved the randomness that was Donna's comment on Sugar having inherited her daddy's dumpy 😭 It felt too real a moment. Maybe an improv line or something cause that's a crazy thing to say 🀣

NovaVortex

Each birth Donna describes is very symbolic. Michael was born with complications, wanting to stay inside his mother. As an adult, he was the only sibling to still live with his mother and is the only one in the family (at the time) who actually wanted to fix the drama surrounding them instead of leaving home like Carmie and Sugar. Carmie was born in a chaotic environment that was "fucked from the start" with the worst conditions possible, hinting at the tornado of a life he'll have as an adult trying to be the best chef he can be. His life, like Donna that day, is full of a LOT of twists and turns. Natalie was easiest to deliver, which is fitting given that she's the most well adjusted sibling (has a very caring spouse, home, now a child). She was born with no complications and her life, similarly, has none either outside of her problematic family and the restaurant of course. Unlike Carmie and Michael, her life and her relationships outside of her family are completely non-toxic.

Bad Karma

JLC be having to remind niggas who tf she is fr. She be playin the hell outta this role

Delinda Arts

This is the episode that solidified Pete as an unspoken Hero. Dude was thrust into chaos and handled it like a champ and he really really really cares about Sugar in such a healthy way and that really translates into how he navigates Donna. He's not in many scenes, and that's his strength in my opinion

Antonio

I’m literally dying to meet her outta all the characters/storylines set up

Niko

Personally, I thought this was one of the absolute best episodes of the entire show so far. I'm just a random dude with no kids btw lol, but I teared up a bit during this episode, Hope both actors get nomimated for some awards. Amazing.

BCoop

yes

Xavier Baker

im glad she made it safely and got a do over with her mom essentially but goddamit Sugar, she was stressing me out in those opening minutes, see next time if she decides to have another child ,one a them mfs is going with her whether she like it or not

Xavier Baker

Jamie Lee is too good of an actor bc she aggravated me so bad this episode 😩😩 like I couldnt even watch it all the way through at first

Tiki

I know y'all were stressed but i LOVED this ep! I have never experienced labor so was very interesting to see depicted and to know it's accurate according to y'all is even better. Was also great to see mother and daughter bond!

User100

I was eating ice nuggets before starting this video and heard the episode title and laughed. Watching this episode and also watching a video of a real birth years ago, almost makes me wonder why any woman would put herself through this. Especially surrogates. Of course without it happening this world wouldn't have human, or animal, life.

Dark Shogun

The episode should be called stress

Rashaad Taylor

I’m blast goku going ssj3 when my future wife gives birth

Curtis Freeman

They set it up last episode. The reason nobody else picked up their phone was because Carmy made the new rule that Richie had to collect everyone's phones and return them at the end of the day

J Man

I feel all of the birth situations are a testament to the characters of the bear siblings Carmen always seems anxious and stressed out β€œthe whole thing was fucked from the beginning” Michael was suffering from depression β€œit was like he wanted to stay in there” and Natalie was fine cause she kinda is the most normal one out of the 3, I think.

Louis

I'm not automatically siding with Sugar. I've liked all the Faks so far so I'm going to wait and see before hating her.

CentipedeKid

Besides Francine 🀣

Niko

This show being in the Comedy category is the most hilarious part about it. I didn't want to tear up seeing generational trauma being yielded and healed-ded.. and here we are

Anna Anthony

Hee Hee Hee

Fallen.1

I cried half of the episode, it hit me hard in the mommy issues

Deja Brown

That's why I can believe it! Also the format of the show doesn't allow for Natalie to have friends outside the Bear.

A

I mean she was probably scared out of her mind and just wanted someone to be there, even if it was her mum.

poisonivybag

Yes they do, I meant more like "hope she's good after watching this episode" because she kept making jokes about this being a PTSD episode. I'm just wishing her well.

poisonivybag

Iono, an unreliable brother who seems to be going through something does seem like a less ideal choice than Syd imo. I get it. Plus, Carmy has a history of not answering her calls.

Robert

nah some would def rather be alone, but it’s pretty obvious that Nat still loves her mother

Chelly

not a high bar πŸ˜‚

Chelly

Vikings vikings vikings also how much ep is this season

Alexander Flores

Dont they have multiple kids? I'm pretty sure she's good.

CentipedeKid

Pretty sure she Bipolar

CentipedeKid

I fuck with the Faks and Pete. They are just nice people

CentipedeKid

Jamie Lee Curtis was in her bag this episode. HOLY 🐐

Frederick

I can and can't believe that Carmy is Natalie's number 3 call, behind Sydney.

A

Sigh alright never mind.

Jamaal Ellison

Does anyone hear talking in the background between min 26:37-28:08. It sounds like it's coming from a radio in the scene but I don't remember hearing it when I first watched the episode

Kacykiki

I came in waiting for sheera opinions lol cuz idk how real this was

Kevs rey

I can't watch this ep and NOT cry

Shay.dy

I'm so tired after watching this 😭. Lupa the ice is the food. Enjoy 🀣

LaTesha

Damn I hope Sheera is okay πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ must have triggered mad memories. What an intense episode.

poisonivybag

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hasnain Khan

"Birth Plan: Survive"

Ginger Dwarf

The reason why nobody else picked up was because they were told to have phones in lockers the episode before

Christian Knight

They*

Kupo

Bro i forgot the turned off the phones during the shift last episode until the faks mentioned it at the end, that got me.

Kupo

Ooof Ik sheera gettin real flashbacks with this one😭😭

Skye Brooklyn

But is she really worth the stress.

Jamaal Ellison

I mean I don’t think any woman wants to give birth alone bruh

Michael Pamon

I'm just commenting on the latest post in the hopes Y'all see it. My favorite series just got an animation trailer at comic-con and im hyped, please check it out and keep an eye out for it in the future. If this gets properly made it will blow Jujutsu Kaisen and Solo Leveling out of the water in terms of writing and story quality. https://youtu.be/9FEayZdH-nk?si=b5Gj-Pop7kHEcMXj

Gwyn

Dont think anyone wants to give birth alone πŸ˜… could be wrong but thats how i took it

kingBD

Could someone explain to me how she got to the hospital? Did she drive herself? If so then what was the point of calling her mother? She knew what kinda energy Donna would bring. Donna's is a narcissist and was making it all about her.

Jamaal Ellison

My PTSD πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ

LUPASAN

One of the best episodes of the entire show. The singing scene broke me 😭

xtina

fantastic episode, great season too
