The loss in connection where Tianchen was teaching Tianxi how to do sign language, and Xiaoshi going "What do I do?", then when he let go of the hands the instructions flowed through. Xiaoshi asking "where were you?" and Lu Guang going "but I was here the whole time"

2024-07-25 16:49:54 +0000 UTCThe next episode is literally a work of art. It's like a film the way it's directed. Also I initially thought they were going to go a different direction with the whole picture thing. I thought that since Lu Guang could see 12 hours into the future with every picture before, he found a hack where he could take a picture right now and see 12 hours into the future from now. What they did was just as if not more sick though. A little hint that it was the brother impersonating the sister was that he always wore basketball shorts in the photo and was wearing them in the present too. I think it's amazing how much Cheng has developed and changed too since season 1. It's very unlikely that most people would be as cold and calculative as Lu Guang when it came to the time travel, and we now know that Emma was gonna die anyway so that wasn't his fault. Even the Dou Dou thing where he technically may have stopped Qiao Ling from reporting him wasn't really his fault either, since both Lu and him didn't know he'd run into her. Even then, he's become a lot mentally stronger and went through all that trauma in the twins' photo and resisted the urge to change the past.
