Not saying he's right, but that's the implied motivation for it.

2024-05-10 04:18:30 +0000 UTCIt's not really a specific fight it was a training arc in Shippuden/Part II when Naruto was learning how to modify his chakra or something like that in order to create the Rasen-shuriken. In order to speed up the process Kakashi or Yamato had him make a bunch of clones to do the same exercise. All the new knowledge gained from each clone manipulating chakra for the new technique would come back to the original Naruto when he dispersed the clones. So, Madelyn being Jean's clone all her memories, feelings, and knowledge became part of Jean when Madelyn died. It doesn't work the exact same way as in Naruto, but the reference is fun and is apt in this case.

Imagine doing things in a radical way but then you decide to try to do things peacefully only to see that it got you no where. That would prompt you to be even more radical than before because you genuinely tried to be fair but it had a negative effect in the end. Magneto went from 70 to 0 only to find out being at 0 didn't do him any good so he turns it up to 200.

We'd lose our magnetosphere, which means we'd lose our atmosphere which equals no air and no protection from the different forces in space and from the Sun that would destroy our planet (cosmic rays, solar winds, etc.). This is why I take issue with Magneto; aside from him essentially adopting a Nazi ideology, he claims to be helping/avenging mutants but his actions are about to destroy the planet. Which would include mutants! And for all his talk of mutant brotherhood and sisterhood, he has no problem hurting mutants when it furthers his agenda. I always say this, but just because you can empathize or sympathize with a villain doesn't make their actions just. Sidenote: Onslaught is coming, and we are not ready.

That is why Cyclops kept giving the countdown on how many hours was remaining before the planet was going to be doomed.

It would have become a UN nation with the X-men advocating for it. This show doesn't happen in a vacuum. Magneto's first appearance was to use nukes to kick off a civil war. And the scene with Gambit, Morph and Logan walking out the danger room they checked the schedule and saw her and Magneto had scheduled to be in the danger room multiple times by themselves which is why they teased him. All he was hoping was that she chooses him but by the time she did which is right after she danced and kissed Magneto in front of him.

True it’s not brought up in the shows universe but I wasn’t talking specifically about the shows universe and more about the character in general. But if you think that’s weak you do you, Xavier has been shown to be a pretty bad guy for decades now
