2024-02-21 17:04:10 +0000 UTCyeah true i mean boxing to me is also strategic because you gotta know when to block or when to strike but most of it is if you can take that punch also like you can muscle through all that if you have crazy endurance but in martial arts it’s the study of the body and their nerves which by hitting a certain point would cause an internal chain reaction and do damage all together without wasting movement or stamina

2024-02-21 15:12:46 +0000 UTCTo be fair boxing has some techniques involved within it, but compared to martial arts as a whole it can be considered 2 things a baby in the world of martial arts or 2 savages punching each other for entertainment, boxing was legit birthed from the normal everyday practice of “catching this hands” but with some rules thrown in it, boxing could be considered the weakest fighting style tbh, while in my opinion wrestling being the most broken cause one single grab from a wrestler and u can consider ur advantage done for. Ofc as an American the best fighting style is guns but yeah in hand to hand combat wrestling I feel like would win most of the time since they could legit break a bone from a single grab or even dislocate any body part

I fucked up my rotator cuff on a trampoline(life long injury), ill never forget doing arnold presses and my spotter caught my right arm as i went to extend and i had no idea why until i realized homie was holding my entire arm and weight cuz the shit pop'd out. Put the other weight on my lap, he put down my arm on my lap after dropping the other weight, i pop'd that fucker in, walked over to the trash can and instantly threw up my lunch. But i didn't actually feel a thing, just nausea lmao.
