People can have opinions jeez, the characters were randomly attacking to their left and right with spinning camera angles and barely actually animatiing finished attacks on the ninja, the mc would slice theyd be drawn almost flat images falling in halves without any real substance. Shits just fast moving but the actually flow and moves used are not well thought out or cohesive. Like the way people talked about the show i came in expecting traditional animation ninja kengan ashura not fast animated fights composed or random spin kicks or nonsense sword moves together with no flow.

Goddamn. It’s hard to describe, but if I had to sum up the vibe of this show, it’d be that late 2000’s Foo Fighters, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park type beat. And I mean that in the absolute best way possible. I’ll own up; I knew the animation would be fucking amazing, but I admit I doubted Park’s ability to tell a captivating straightforward story following his God of High School adaptation. It’s since been pointed out that the adaption wasn’t entirely his fault, and I see here I was wrong to doubt the man, Obviously, he’s not the sole creative behind the story and that may play a part, but nonetheless he directed this with the same kinetic energy and abrupt emotional outbursts that I came to appreciate about JJK season one. I’m very impressed so far and can’t wait for more.

Idk if someone pointed this out yet but it should be clear what happened when you look back at it. 1) Guy gets hit by these three needles 2) Police come a lot earlier than expected 3) Gets stabbed in the back by same person who threw those three needles the three needles were likely to inject some kind of drug/medicine that temporarily stops ones pulse, achieving clinical death. The stab was in a non vital area. And the same person who stabbed him also tipped off the police ahead of time so they couldn't do a more thorough job
