Its just ok definitely not all that well done, solo leveling is largely carried by its art as virtually no depth of character exists for sung jin woo and hes pretty much the only person relevant strength wise by about half way through part 1 and even then not really ever challeged again

False rankers are maniacs who lower their power like spiritual pressure to appear as a low rank so they can kill people. to get a higher rank you have to try to reawaken and hope to god you get stronger. and episode back Jinwoo said he didn't want to go get reevaluated again because he didn't want his secret to be out. so in actuality his rank on paper is E but he is probably like mid tier C rank now. By end of the show based on the fact he levels up we know he will eventually some day be S rank because plot.

Really depends tbf @jamie They may start dragging fights out more than they have been. Like the big future ones may take up multiple episodes. I also think the manhwa was a tad bit faster paced than the light novel and since they're adapating a lot of stuff from the LN in the anime, i wouldnt be surprised if it does go a bit longer.

It's not even that it's too fast, the manwha really is just that short. It only has 179 chapters, with them doing 3-4 chapters an episode, we're gonna be getting around 50-55 episodes. Which they're doing 12 episode seasons, so we're gonna get about four 12 episode seasons total. 5 if they include the side stories.

Roshi, I believe the ability is called "Intimidate" in Pokemon. It lowers the foe's attack at the start of combat. "Mean Look" keeps a Pokemon from running away from the battle. In a StrategyRPG I've played called Fire Emblem It's called "Daunt." The foe's stats are lowered during combat even if the ability user is not in combat.

I started reading this series after episode one. Took me three days but I read all 200 chapters. It was well worth it. I don't know if the anime will be around to cover all 200 chapters though. Maybe they'll surprise me and do a Naruto and cover the whole series. If they do it'll take 17 seasons.

this adaptation is doing a fantastic job imo. so you dont need to, but the manhwa has some great art and some nice comedy at time so its definitely worth a read. the manhwa is more badass so far, but I assume that they are going the route of making him more badass looking over time. adding more particle effects and dope shots like when he killed that fire mage.

Basically all the small scenes that exclude sung Jin woo have shown a few characters that don’t show up till later in the manwha. I wouldn’t say it’s a spoiler just because most people won’t remember any of them till the anime really focuses on them
