Your videos make me want a cigarette and a gallon of scotch after watching them, and I don't even smoke

Newish here but this is a really wonderful video that as always manages to take a bunch of JUST out of reach concepts and string them together in an accessible and relatable way. A smaller part i like that's touched on although not the point is the part about Brazil (where im from particularly) being used as set dressing more than anything because I have heard so much about the gameplay but never once that it took place there. Might be a smarter way to say this but it made me think of how "exotic" chaotic places are used to supplement or contrast the characters own inner chaos or peace especially in rough and tumble shooters but are never anything more than that. it's something that did not particularly click with me until I was watching and at the risk of having rambled enough I appreciate it

Very nice. I don't know if it's too late to adress, but you have one frame of misplaced text ("What is most important, it seems to me...") at 20:52.

couldn't hope for anything better than that! Thanks Avery

Good stuff as always. The meta-layers of filmed while being filmed was a nice touch. Theater of Cruelty makes me think about Martin McDonagh plays (he's done movies as well but I'm not as familiar with those) -- things like 'A Behanding in Spokane' and 'The Pillowman' which are barrages of rapidfire language, accusations and brutality on a surreal sense. (The plot of a Behanding is that a pair of people try to sell a hand to a guy who's missing a hand, more or less). I also couldn't stop thinking about the ugliness of shooter games vs the ugliness of horror games and where they cross over and where they don't. You always leave me thinking too much, lol :b
