It's just a great story imo and I hope that it doesn't get lost to time due to all of the shiny new modern anime thats been coming out this last decade.

There is a famous China town called Yokohama-Chukagai and there are some of the old Chinese architectures so it’s not weird to see them. The stone he bought for her is also expensive stone from china. And also I can recognize the background of the date scenes, it’s a park pretty close to the China town and also known as a famous date spot. This area recommended for a first date, so everyone going there and that’s why it makes sense these two hanging out there. There are many areas in Yokohama that are less safe than Tokyo so I can understand all the punks coming from and lastly, you can find many kebab stall in Tokyo and Yokohama areas lol
