Here's the first Act for chapter 4.
Chapter 4 is likely to be the biggest chapter in the story so rather than take 8-12 months, I wanted to release it in smaller chunks so that you're not left waiting forever.
Act 1 doesn't have any narrative romance so I've added 2 animations in the extras section instead of Lili and June with MC.
Over the course of Chapter 4, I'll be doing polls to include the ladies that you choose in these extras.
With that being said, hope you have fun and thank you for your continued support!
Progress Update: Chapter 4 Act1
Got about 25-35 renders left to do which should bring the total to around 550. The animations are completed but still needed to be rendered out.
Aside from a concept/trial render, I still haven't started work on ch2 remake but If I can find some time, I'll get it done.
I won't be releasing an android build for now. I'll do it once the second part comes out. Looking to post on the 27th but might get pushed to 28th if the animations take too long to render out.

Hello everyone, hope you're doing well. I'm currently working on chapter 4 alongside remaking chapter 2. I'm looking to release a mini-update sometime soon but that's not what I wanted to talk about today.
Today I wanted to talk about a fellow developer and friend, MrKnobb. MrKnobb and I have been in contact for quite some time now and have helped each other out a lot (him more than me tbh) and we decided to do a cross-promotion with each other.
Personally having played his current game, Alternate Existence, I can truly say that he has a good understanding of what makes a quality game. He was one of the reasons why I've started making custom animations from scratch and has been a big influence in many other aspects.

Intro
Hello all, Misterknobb here. I am currently busy with creating Alternate Existence Visual Novel. My previous game Retrieving the Past is completed and available on various platforms. Both Visual Novels are fairly linear but do have choices that will have an impact on relationships of various characters in each game. But let’s talk about...
Alternate Existence
AE is about past, current and future events which all mesh together into one hellava story. Things start off pretty mundane for our hero (this means YOU the player). Working a grinding 15hr day to day job for very little money. Then one day fortune walks in with an offer our hero cannot refuse, which is move into a house with 3 beautiful women each with their own distinct personalities and an opportunity to finally go to university.
But, things aren’t always as they seem. There is an investigator dragging up an old police case that has you involved that you thought was buried. Then there are strange happening to you. Things that make you do extraordinary feats. And if that is not all, suddenly you find yourself surrounded but lots and lots of beautiful women. Strange indeed.

Here's the complete remake for chapter 1. For people who aren't interested or weren't too fond of Savannah, I'd recommend giving chapter 1 another go now that it's been completely reworked and her personality/character is explored with a lot more depth and has been altered from the original.
I hope you like the changes made and the general improvement of overall quality. Enjoy! ❤️

Halfway through with the rework. I'll be extending the animation with Savannah by maybe 4 or 5 more scenes. I'm looking to release the remake within 3-4 weeks. Your saves won't be affected and you if you want, you can decide to not play it.
Once that's done I'll dive straight into Chapter 4. I'll release Ch4 in small parts rather than one giant update. This way I'll be able to deliver consistent content instead of having you guys wait for months on end.
Second reason is that chapter 4 is likely to be the biggest chapter so far. So, if I didn't break it up into parts, it'd be in development for more than 4 months and that's not something I want you guys to bear with.
Let me know what you think about the rework quality.
Frequency Of Updates
I'll just cut to the chase: This is a poll to understand how often you guys want me to push out updates.
Would you guys prefer smaller updates (somewhere around 25%-35% of a chapter) but around every 4-5 weeks or would you guys prefer the entirety of the chapter in 3-4 months of time.
Please note this isn't a vote to establish the frequency but just to get an idea of the amount of time you guys want to wait.

First things first, sorry for going radio silent on you guys for over a month. There were many times where I wanted to post an update but it just felt like there was no point unless the update was ready.
Usually, each chapter focuses on 3 to 4 women for you to pursue. However in this chapter, the focus is on only 1 girl and also to properly introduce the family.
Because of this decision, I understand that not everyone may like the woman featured in this chapter, therefore I went a step ahead and included custom animations for the 4 women chosen from the previous polls.
The woman included from the poll are: Alejandra, Costanza, Grace and Linda.
These animations can be found in the main menu gallery screen. You can unlock them by playing through the chapter.
Which brings me to the update status.

As for the Chapter 1 remake. I intend to finish it off by the time Chapter 3B gets a public release. For players who've already played to the latest chapter, I'd recommend replaying the remake since it will include more renders, more animations and more dialogue.
However, if you want, you can choose to ignore it completely as it will not affect your saves.
I'll be posting a poll soon regarding the update speeds. I understand waiting months for an update can be frustrating so I'd like to get your feedback on how often you want updates to be pushed through.

Finally Back! Development has begun.
If you were wondering why I wasn't posting anything, then that is because I was away for a while. The only thing I had access to was my laptop so I couldn't officially start work on Chapter 3B but I did however work on the script.
Now that I'm back, I'm happy to say that I've started working again and I want to start by letting you guy make a decision.
Here are two models that I've been working on since this morning and I want you guys to decide, one or the other. There are no wrong answers :)

Hello Everyone!
Since the holidays are upon us, I'd like to wish you all happy holidays and personally wanted to thank you for supporting me.
Each day that I spend working towards the game, the more I see the potential in what can be achieved. You guys have given me the motivation to continue going forward and I hope that you'll be there in the future as well.
As for now, I don't have the chapter ready so instead, I'd like to recommend games from fellow developers who you can check out and give an opportunity to just like you did with me.

Was going to post this poll yesterday but had some issues with the internet.
But all that aside, this is what I was working on.
I was somewhat stuck with her personality and proportions. I guess it's time for the big revelation.
This is Sylvia; MC's younger sister. I wanted to get your guys' opinion on what she should look like. I've included 2 variations each for her body and her sense of fashion.
Please note that her sense of fashion affects her personality too i.e. revealing clothing = she's more open and liberal with her emotions/desires and hence a bit aloof in social situations. Whereas conservative clothing = she's more cautious about how her presentation affects her surrounding and her image.
If you guys have any suggestions, leave them here and I'll probably recreate an updated poll from the consensus:

I'll do the poll I mentioned before on next Sunday. The poll is regarding two character designs that I've been working on but can't decide which one to go with.

Sorry about not updating last week. I was away for the weekends on a "Safari" work trip. Wanted to post an update Last Sunday but I fell asleep till Monday morning by the time I got back.
Since most of my work is done on the weekends, I wasn't able to make as much progress as I was hoping for.

Got some good news for you guys. Originally this chapter was supposed to be shorter than chapter 2 (about 2/3 of the length) since I was going away for the holidays, but after thinking about it and doing some talking with my family, I decided that it'd be selfish of me to waste your time with a subpar follow-up.
So Instead of leaving in December, I'll be going somewhere around late January which is more than enough time to finish the chapter in full-length.

Progress Update: Chapter 3
Completed the redesign for the User Interface. Hopefully this is the last time I change it up.
Here's a preview of the menu screen. Simplified it where it looks appealing to both desktop and mobile users. Might tone the background colours down a bit, might not.
As for story, I've been making steady progress and have gotten some better looking renders. I'm also extending the early portion of chapter 3 so that you can have a good grasp of the characters before heading off to the family trip.
In this chapter, you'll begin to see some changes here and there from the decisions you've made in chapter 2.

I'll be busy pretty much all day and night tomorrow so I'm posting an update today instead.
Had a busy week creating commissions so haven't made much progress. I think it was good practice though as it allowed me to be far more experimental and learn some new tricks.
While I haven't made progress in story, I've instead used the time to setup some animations and I think they're a step forward in quality.

Ran some numbers for chapter 3 and I realise that since I'm extending content, it might take me around 3 months to finish said chapter.
Sometime around first week of December, I'll be leaving the country (I'm currently in for personal reasons) for around a month or so, which is why I'll be releasing sometime around the end of November (even if all the content isn't completed).
Once I leave, I'll be putting the project on hold (pausing patreon subscriptions) during the months of December and January.

It's been a slow week. Spent most of the time gathering and analysing feedback, suggestions, criticism for chapter 2.
One of the biggest criticism was the lack of content; both narrative and sexual. So to compensate, I'll be slightly extending the story than originally planned and try to fill in the gaps to the best of my ability.
Similar to chapter 2, I'll allow you, the player, to skip some of these interactions if you want.
During weekdays I work pretty much all day so if you've got any questions, suggestions, criticisms, etc. you can join my discord and leave a message in the server.
