There was some kind of large-scale party at a water park. Music’s bumpin’. The organizers dumped some colorful cornstarch. Something made a spark and set the whole crowd on fire.

Given the apparent size of the kitchen at the manor, no fucking way would 1 bag of flour be able to do shit. Seems far more reasonable to make a box like Maomao crafted to combust instead, eyeballing it. If Subaru had yeeted like 100+ bags of flour into the room it might have worked assuming he did the math correctly to the minimum combustibility quota

That's my theory as far as the pipe goes. Also that guy with the monocle probably did figure out how the explosion happened but just didn't bother reporting because he wanted to test the others since he worked in the military building that Maomao was collecting herbs last episode.

Remember when Loid hung bags of flour and the flour bags broke apart. The flour dust particles scattered in the warehouse and he threatened the official with it, I think. That's the only reason I was able to remember though to be honest otherwise I would've been just as baffled.
