Now that Treasure Island has revival fluid, it seems kinda risky to leave dangerous people who could easily take over the island. Senku brought Hyoga + the pink haired girl with them in the first place for that very reason, so I imagine they'd do the same thing this time. Granted, their prisoners weren't statues before.
