It's showing why the mc is the way he is and thinks the way he thinks at the beginning of the story. The scene where he is in the new school is where the mangua actually begins. We don't get what we got in the tv show til several chapters into the mangua. It's sooo good!

She had no friends and nowhere to go but Soo Ho was kind enough to take her in and get her a job as well. So now because of the guilt she feels after Beom Suk blaming her for everything HE did she's lost the only 2 friends she had (and Soo Ho had probably started to feel a little more like a brother to her) and her home.

Second, I decided to read where this sorta 'prologue' starts in the webtoon (starts at chap. 26 I believe, if anyone is interested) and I'm very interested by the changes. Some were good, some I was curious about, but overall it is a good alternate version of the story. They managed to make Bum Seok just as infuriating while giving some more reasoning as to why he's like that. Bum Seok was really just a tragic kid self-sabotaging himself and losing what little good he had in his life. I nearly cried for Si Eun and Soo Ho, but I somehow still felt bad for Bum Seok too. Looking forward to watching what they do with season 2! Acting was great, pretty good characters, probably one of the best kdramas I've seen to date with yall.

The bullying was directed at the close relationship between the main character and the kid that got bullied. Basically they were caring them lovers. 3. The show made it look like an accident but the webtoon made it look intentionally done. 4. They kind of dance around it a bit but the primary motivation was the main characters grade.

Certain stuff may be changed cause of Soo Ho’s back story has been changed a little bit compared to the manhwa like him being a skilled fighter and he kind of has the personality of one of the other characters that’s introduced in the main story. That’s why fans are okay if they change him to waking up early than the original. But we’ll definitely see Si Eun in the school where the main story goes down at.
