I hope it gets expanded on later because you’re telling me no one on the whole campus video’d any of those gray suits merking everyone after all the emphasis on phones and livestreams the whole season? Turning off the WiFi doesn’t stop you from being able to record or take pictures. How did they keep the whole school quiet about what happened? Not one person leaked ANYTHING? @Molly I don't know how its like in the comics, but it hasn't been made clear at all that the 7 are the "most powerful". Sure, is one of the qualifiers strength? It would be safe to assume, but from what we've seen from the show, politics and public image is what is sought out for way more than anything else. In no way do I think Translucent is stronger than a lot of the supes we've seen in this show or the other seasons of the boys.

Yeah Marie moreau is an entire problem she took a Homelander blast so even if he was holding back she's as strong as stormfront and queen Maeve also what did maverick do besides the weird bathroom stuff and sexual stuff he seems cool. I sympathize with Sam the most on this show he didn't ask to be locked up and torture and experimented on daily and his conscious tried to convince him to stop. The only one of the main cast I wanted more attention on was Jordan not that they didn't receive enough it's just curiosity toward their abilities. Also they said it superior I think the writers have a lot of love for the x men because there were so many references . Cate is doing this to Sam, having him "feel nothing" to silent the voices in his head while aiming to kill all non-supes.

Don't know if y'all caught this. Cate basically showed the typical signs of a victim becoming like their abuser. Cate is now Shetty and she took advantage of Sam (and the other Woods kids). Yes, there was consent, but Sam ( and the other kids) were basically like how Cate was. They were trapped in The Woods, isolated from people for years. Cate was in this same position being locked up in her vault of a room for 9 years. Cate offering Sam help to "feel nothing" which silenced the voices in his head is exactly like Shetty giving Cate those pills to dampen her powers and keep her loud thoughts and other people's thoughts quiet.. The writing in this show is too good.

Also if Emma were to get big to break out ... first of all she'd probably hurt the others with no space. And the structure of the place is probably extremely dense. If she were to get larger and larger she might kill herself. Example from the comics: MM had a special needs brother who also had compound v. One random day while he was playing, he was wearing a football helmet and out of nowhere his powers activated which caused his head to grow. His head kept growing in his football helmet to the point where it ended up crushing itself because that helmet's structural integrity was S-tier and didn't break. So I don't think Emma should ever do that.

Man this episode was so crazy and I loved it. Everything went so wrong at the end and it infureated me in the best way possible. The optics when Homelander showed up had my heart stop. Homelander was called to show up at the school at stop the chaos going on and was probably not told everything. He shows up and what does he see? Dead people surrounded by a black girl, an asian guy and a DEFENSELESS WHITE GIRL with her arm blown off. You know damn well he just clapped the minorities just because they were there and even if he was told he made a mistake he'd probably say some dumb insensitive racist shit, laugh it off and move on. Also despite Cate and Sam being hailed as heroes in the media, they're gonna be in trouble too maybe? The Woods was a known thing by Vaught right? So I don't think Cate and Sam are in the clear because Cate straight up fucked with Vaught's secret stuff so they might be holding her and Sam up somewhere else.

In my opinion Cate was always full of too many red flags, probably because of how Shetty trained her to use and abuse her powers. Looking back, the way she said "I could make you do it" to Marie about the drugs but then said "I won't, because I'm all about consent" was really concerning. She's not about consent at all, her powers fundamentally break the concept of consent. Even more of a red flag was the ways in which she would use her powers to cause extended torture or very drawn out, painful deaths. Sure, most everyone she did that to deserved some kind of punishment, but she always seemed to really like making people hurt themselves (sometimes in weirdly sexual ways) as a sort of "justice" for what had been done to her. Cate definitely took a liking to the control her powers gave her way too much. The saddest part of it is that this was done to her, she was manipulated for years and she very well could have had a full psychotic break from the effects of the those pills they gave to her. It's not like they have dozens of telepaths to do clinical trials on for special drugs. Shetty was experimenting on her too and whatever that pill was, I think it fucked with her outside of dampening her powers.
