They‘ll watch that last episode, but Owari actually has a second part with 3 longer episodes that conclude this story after the next episode, that’s what I’m confused about.

But if araragi dies, I'm sure you won't say the same towards him"... I HOPE this doesn't come of ass a big spoiler, but fast forward to owarimonogatari s2 final episode.... I legit cried on that scene between them. How to show someone that you're head over heels for a fictional story, when its not even a sad moment and you still cry cuz of the emotional impact it has on your soul

2023-11-02 23:32:15 +0000 UTCA lot of what Kanbaru says to Shinobu comes from a place of empathy towards the First Kin because of the situation with Araragi and Senjoughara from all the way back in Bakemonogatari "I know what its like to be first but also be second", that situation ended with Senjougahara coming directly to Kanbaru denying her feelings which gave her closure, she wants Shinobu to do the same for the First Kin. For Shinobu she just has no idea how to deal with people and her relationships because of being isolated for 500 years as a result of being a vampire, she doesn't have that level of human social experience, she has a tendency to run away and not face things head on when she should, she needs to take that step here. (remember how she gave Araragi the silent treatment for the entire first season of the show instead of trying to talk to him?) + About the "he came back out of love for Shinobu", it was explained by Gaen last episode that his natural resurrection was put on hold by Oshino asking Araragi to put a seal on the shrine in Bakemonogatari during Nadeko's arc; however, when Shinobu came to the shrine during the time travel arc, the First Kin seeing Shinobu reinvigorated him and he overcame the limitations put onto him by the seal (as well as his proximity to his master making him stronger), Kanbaru interprets this as love(which given the First Kin's dialogue in this episode about Shinobu, tracks).
