I don’t know if anyone explained it yet, but Getou Suguru died in JJK 0. You hear Gojou stabbing him or something, so Gojou knew absolutely he was dead, because Gojou finished him. So imagine knowing 100% sure your bestfriend was dead, but hearing their voice loud and clear a year later. Anyone would trip up, even Gojou and he did. I think they did a good job dealing with Gojou’s brokeness.

We learned earlier this season that some curses can take over a sorcerer's dead body. While I couldn't have predicted that he had a krang brain now, we knew that Geto died at the end of JJK0. Not only that, but his mission in life drastically changed over the span of a year. That struck me as odd. It seems unlikely that Geto would go from "we need to kill all regular people to stop the creation of curses" before + during the events of JJK0... to "let's create a utopia for curses to replace humanity" during the events of JJK. I know y'all probably wont read this since you're avoiding spoilers, but I wanted to clarify some of the time related stuff. Jogo and Hanami had to hold Gojo off for 20 minutes before "Geto" came with the Prison Realm. The 1 minutes was that they had to keep Gojo within 4 meters of the Cube after "Geto" said "Gate Open", but that minute didn't have to be a real minute, it actually was that Gojo's mind needed to experience 1 minute, and the flashbacks from seeing Geto caused that. As for the Domain Expansion: In the 0.2 seconds the people experienced half a year worth of information, and then it took 2 months of rehabilitation after all of this for them to recover enough to go back to their lives. I don't think they explicitly ever explained, but it's sorta assumed that all the survivors were hospitalized after the events of Shibuya end.

Jogo and Mahito want to replace the human species because they consider themselves as the "real humans" (and the name "Mahito" in Japanese means "real human" btw). But all Hanami ever wanted was for humans to stop destroying nature. He considered humans as the children of the Earth and wanted them to sacrifice themselves willingly to save the planet. He never killed for pleasure. When facing the students in season 1 and asking them to be turned to sages, he even sounded as if he was crying. If you haven't noticed yet, in the last 2 episodes he's the only curse who hadn't killed a single civilian. Choso, Gojo and Mahito kept killing everybody around them, but not Hanami.

While fighting Nanami in those sewers he learned he could keep regenerating his own body as long as he wanted. During the fight against both Nanami and Itadori, he learned how to use Domain Expansion. And against Mechamaru he learned he could escape a simple domain by blowing himself up. So yeah, everytime he uses his powers he learns something new. So it wouldn't be too far-fetched to imagine he gained a pretty big power-up since the last time we saw him.

Not spoiler related, so you can read! The mahjong game sprinkled in here was actually interesting! Geto seemed to pull his winning tile, so he won on Tsumo with a closed hand, which is already a fair amount of points. However, the fact he seemingly won on his fourth draw means his hand was probably already in tenpai, or waiting on one tile for a win. It's crazier because his hand contains double yakuhan, the full dragon set and full winds set, plus terminals of all suits. Looking it up, this seems like a Kokushi Musou 13-way wait hand. The points from this are pretty huge, and the possibility of acheiving it, while not the most difficult, is still pretty challenging as the hand has to stay closed. Since he's the dealer (East) then he gets over 45,000 points which is massive. It's also interesting that his hand is considered one of the "three big families of yakuman", since there are three big clans in JJK lmao. Another fun bit was how Jogo, Hanami, and Mahito all drew dragon/fundamental tiles before discarding them. Some think these tiles are based around Chinese philosophy of the heavens, earth, and man. So here, Jogo has the heaven tile, Mahito the man tile, and Hanami the earth tile.

The catch here is that it’s enough if the minute passes in gojo’s mind. So when gojo suddenly sees geto, it’s safe to assume that way more than a minute’s worth of memory rushed through gojo’s head, which activated the prison realm.
