If I'm understanding correctly, sadly Sheera's solution of killing Madoka, it may be impossible. Since every time she dies, Homura gets sent back in time. Killing her is essentially... impossible now? Since it would just cause an automatic time loop. Maybe I'm understanding this wrong, but she might be immortal because of this now. It kind of feels like... neither side can win this fight anymore.

Because if so, 20,000 earthquakes and 50-60 volcanic eruptions happen a year. And those would just be the *powerful* witches popping off. Even the most basic witches influence murders and suicides... and their original wishes were for cake, medicine, or being popular in school. Homura Trivia Time: During the battle with Walpurgisnacht, Homura knew exactly where the witch was going to land for her next attack. She starts with RPG spamming it between two towers where she had set to collapse on the witch, the witch then ran to a bridge where Homura was waiting with a dozen missile launchers that sent it flying into a building where thousands of bombs were planted beforehand. Homura had gone through this same battle so many times she memorised all the Witch’s movements and attack patterns. And let’s not forget about all the artillery she had to steal and prep that probably took years

You're telling me i just finished my hundredth something rewatch of Rebellion last night and just noticed several shots of 2 ladybugs sitting under an umbrella that seems entirely benign and random unless you understand the moment its foreshadowing much later in the movie. The entire series is packed bursting to the brim with easily the best foreshadowing and artistic details of any piece of media I've ever seen in my life.

There's a fan theory (that I think is true) that every time Homura goes back in time, she ends a timeline FOR Madoka but BECAUSE of Walpurgisnacht, so Walpurgisnacht is getting stronger on every loop, too. So even though every loop Homura gets better prepared and more heavily armed, she'll still never be able to beat Walpurgisnacht alone.

Remember that in previous timeline, they said that madoka one-shoted walpurgisnacht, but later she turned into a witch so prob she was already the strongest since a couple timelines ago but no doubt, she initially was not that strong.

Madoka was NOT the strongest magical girl in the first two timelines they showed. If it is true that she has been doing this for 8 years then I will assume that the 3 timeslines, before the one we are seeing, are like this: 1st timeline we see: When she first witnesses them fight the walpurgis n decided to make her wish to go back in time. 2nd timeline we see: Her first attempt at preventing the outcome of everyone dying from walpurgis (They still die) 3rd timeline we see: At this point they probably skipped ahead many timelines into the one right before the main one we are watching. In this one Madoka is the strongest magical girl because she one shot’s the walpurgis witch but afterwards, Madoka turns into a witch. In a way, he goal changed. She originally just wanted to save everyone from dying. Now she wants to prevent Madoka from becoming the strongest witch and she probably didnt realize that by going back in time, it is making Madoka stronger and stronger. I hope that what you guys said is true, that now Madoka is so strong that she can beat walpurgis and not turn into a witch.

Winter season for anime is Jan - March. If the trailer Naki watched said Winter 2024 then it’s gonna be some time in January - March. Unless they have posted something saying that they didnt mean to put “Winter 2024” in the trailer and actually meant “Fall 2024”

sure it wasn't realistic that her mom sent her away on her own, but then again, either is having a witch the size of a building float around destroying town is realistic. I think the reason the author added that part was to show how madoka can reach out to people. she was able to convince her own mom to let her save her friend, by opening her heart and feelings to her in regard to their family connection, and thats part of why shes potentially the strongest magical girl, since her way with emotions is the strongest of every girl in existence.

Something that made me so much more considerate of Homura was realizing that her weapons don't carry over into new timelines. So everytime she failed she would need to reacquire all of those weapons just to try again. It certainly explains everytime she's absent during critical moments like when Sayaka saved Madoka and Hitomi from the Witch in episode 4, she spends every available day of her 45 days in each reset to prepare for Walpurgisnacht while also trying to prevent Madoka from making a wish.

I really like that the show gives an explanation why Madoka is so special! You can even see in the previous episode, in the first few timelines Madoka lost against Walpurgisnacht (or at best it was a double kill), while in the later timeline she "one-shot" Walpurgisnacht (and afterwards became a witch, maybe because she obliterated the city as well). And yes, killing Madoka would solve the problem of her destroying the world as a Witch - but of course Homura would never do that.
