Some cool things happen with force innovation but 90% of the show is forgettable, most of the missions are pretty boring standard star wars stuff. I know because I'm on my second rewatch with the Normies and it's dragging on and super slow going at 1-2 episode a week pace. Power of friendship almost always wins. At some point we gotta ask why not Blues Clues or My Little Pony if we're so into these kids shows. The New Rockstars breakdowns cover it all really well and are enough. There are just so many other amazing shows out there that slogging thru a decent one over the course of a whole year just isn't worth it. Shinsekai Yori / From the New World is an absolute banger, we need more serious adult anime

Honestly I feel like watching a summary of the seasons is okay (New Rockstars did an amazing job). There's so many amazing shows and anime out there that some 100+ episodes of rebels just feels like an unnecessary time sink

Light speed is fast, but even in our Solar system the distances are massive, let alone traveling inside our galaxy, now imagine traveling from our galaxy to another galaxy, even with light speed it would take tens of thousands of years. Basically anything to do with the Old Republic or Sith Empire isnt canon, though they may bring elements of it back later. The things that say, Luke Skywalker can do, in Legends, are insane. Its not comparable to how Vader chucked rocks at Obi-Wan in his show. We're talking bringing a star destroyer down from orbit, emitting a force shockwave that disintegrates every person in a room, force life draining an entire planet, that sort of thing. They dont want it to be so comic-booky and distinctly like a video game or anime, they want the force to be a martial art that requires intense dedication and is more unseen. Like I said, I can't defend anything that happens in Rise of Skywalker, because that movie is indefensible. You can account all the crazy shit that happens to the writers literally just thinking that would be cool if it happened. But the people who had control of that movie dont have control of Star Wars now. The force is meant to be immensely powerful, but more in a mystical way, and not just superhero powers.

They don't want the force to grant ridiculous powers like Starkiller has or anything, they want it kept to the depiction in the Lucas films. Think of the limitations that were placed on Yoda in the first 3 films, he's strong, but he doesnt do anything like bring a giant ship down to the planet from orbit. They don't want the force to be like, anime or superhero level power scaling, they want it to be much more rarely used and scaled back than that. Also, force flight would look ridiculous 😅

At the end of Rebels Ezra sacrificed himself by using the force to make those flying whales you saw last episode to Light Speed Thrawn's Star Destroyer while he was in it and Ezra also to go to another galaxy. Yes those flying Whales can Hyber drive through space. Also Ahsoka has been in that place before with Ezra which is called World Between Worlds.

Her fighting style, stance, and the way her and Baylan fought this episode, a lot of it looked like kendo.
