Something y'all gotta take into account though is the position he was obviously forced into. One way or another they locked down mechamaru's actual position before this all happened and strong armed him into this situation. Because what is he going to do with geto or any of the rest sitting in front of him with no preparation. In that case he can either fight right there and die or gain intel and then double cross them once he creates an ace up his sleeve. Going with plan B he managed to learn everything about the shibuya plot, gain intel on geto's survival, and he managed to create an opportunity to potentially flip the tables on them in a massive way. Which he got pretty damn close to doing to be honest, he just made a blunder with Mahito underestimating the rate of his growth. Also, the dude has been in a mangled hellscape of a body since the moment he was born harboring nothing but resentment for his condition. He was strongarmed into a position where he could either die fighting with no chance to win, or double cross them for the chance at a massive win + plus fufill his lifelong dream of having an actual body to see the ones he loves and cares about. And people think he was stupid for going with plan B? Nah

Well you have to take into account how much he wanted to have a normal body in his fight against panda Mechamaru said that he never asked or wanted his cursed technique/heavenly restriction and if he could give it all up for a normal body then he would. His plan did not involve waiting for help his plan was to kill both Mahito and Geto or at least make them retreat. you also have to remember that the last time Mahito used domain expansion and failed he had to run away from the fight because he was out of cursed energy and the same thing happened in this fight so it was reasonable that Mechamaru thought he had defeated Mahito on top of the fact that Mechamaru himself landed what he thought was the final blow. And their was nothing he could've done about the veil though obviously Mechamaru knows what they are and what they can do. Besides Geto could have used a binding vow to prioritize the effects of the veil over the appearance so the veil was probably already done before the fight even started. This fight was not Mechamaru's 300 IQ plan to getting a normal body this fight was Mechamaru's all or nothing gamble for a normal bosy which further goes to show how much it means to him. Hope this clears some things up 👍

Anime during certain time slots, like JJK this season, have to follow anti seizure laws put in place due to the infamous Porygon introduction episode of Pokémon that caused many seizures due to its insane array of flashing lights. The laws put in place force anime’s to dim and ghost any chaotic/flashy animation sequences. Dimming is simply lowering the brightness, which is most notable Id say in “My Hero Academia.” Ghosting is done by meshing frames together and over one another to give a kind of artificial blur to the animation scenes. The Mahito chase scene is a significant instance where you can really see what ghosting causes.

I’m not super pressed about it but the dimming isn’t the main issue. It’s the ghosting. Like during the Mahito chase scene, it results from overlaying frames to cause a more blurry look to flashy movement. In that case, it was quite severe. It’s just a shame, because the raw animation is probably perfect beneath all of that blurring, and the animators work isn’t in its intended form with that stuff added. Again, the fight was amazing, but it’s an understandable gripe with Japanese TV laws.
