Snowfall 3x10

Next season gonna be wild

Comments

What he meant by that

Arz.09

In 1990, Los Angeles County had over 2,500 homicides in one year alone, Blood on the Leaves is a song about lynching, the scene was extremely symbolic.

Cee Dubuyu 97

"Remember McDonalds?" Teddy: 👁️👄👁️

Ghost_Dog97

y'all are fucking slow as dog shit ^ couldn't handle a parallel universe (however you feel about the concept) for 25 minutes lmao. then we get out of that and have the apartment complex scene with the dead bodies, the argument between cissy and louie and jerome, franklin's newfound resolve and revealing his knowledge to teddy and it's not enough?

ok

Plenty of people thought it was shit and unnecessary especially for a finale

Danger Tomato

this episode was fire ... especially once we exited the parallel universe are you kidding me?

ok

Some of the comments shitting on this epsiode had me expecting it to be a dud going into it ... it was beautiful 😭

ok

im happy she is sober now! although a selfish part of me wishes they could've continued her storyline. it was clear that she was going to be a "drug lord" in her own right ... the positioning of villanueva routes etc as perfect. now there is no face to it.

ok

its been a long standing rumor from fans of the show because of the weirdness of her departure. She had insta post the year after the season ended celebrating her sobriety. Alot of the cast commented encouraging things under that picture as well.

Kozmo

S4 Franklin not a joke. 🔥🔥🔥

Christion

@The Uruk Slayer Franklin saw the effects of what was going on in the neighborhood and kept pushing it through. Yes he did say that, I go by actions not words. Franklin can say he didn't know how big the effect was going to be all he wants, but the show also made it a point that he saw what was happening and didn't give a fuck. "A lot folks just take in what they want to about a character to fit the narrative They already have for them". I could literally say the same thing about you. What you said was not objective in anyway. It's just your subjectivity about his character and mine.

EmoBurrito

Does anyone know where they got the info about Lucia's actress. I can't find anything on what they were talking about.

Saynt Michael

Why are you acting like Franklin didn't think anything that bad was gonna come from it? It's DRUGS lmao come on now why do you think he doesn't smoke it himself? He knows it's bad 😭 & no I don't think he's making the community worse on purpose. It's very obvious he does it for money...but I'm saying he didn't give af about it BC he's making money. & honestly I don't give af about him being remorseful when he still continued to do what he was remorseful about so he could live by "his rules". If you can't see the selfishness in that then idk what to tell you buddy. That's why I said "all of a sudden" bc before, when he was remorseful, there was not a plan of action to make the community better. But NOW, after getting shot, almost dying, and a war, NOW he makes that decision. But ay I'm all about him doing that tho and I hope he succeeds. But I'm ngl ending that with "grow up" is such a non grown up thing to say lmao had me laughing for a good minute 😂

Erica Collins

@Fizzy it’s ppl like them that for some reason expected Franklin or ppl back then to have future sight and know how bad crack was going to be. Nor do they have the understanding how these communities were/still are. As if weed and sherm hadn’t already been a problem. They see a black male protag and hate him, possibly a misandrist they’re more common nowadays to just hate strong black men.

The Endless

I’m glad this show is actually making y’all expose how media literacy y’all lack😭 You think somehow some way he knew how bad crack was gonna be? Dude was trying to make money in a business that already existed. It was already the projects and low income neighborhoods with gangs. Yeah he made it worse but do you actually think he was actively trying to? Especially with different scenes showing the remorse he’s had when confronted with the results of his actions. So no, it’s not “all of sudden”, but those scenes were conveniently erased from your memory so you can have a biased perception of him. Drug dealers= bad then news flash you should be hating about half the cast bc most of them were doing this b4 Franklin even got into this. Grow up.

The Endless

@EmoBurrito You do have conceptualize the fact that this is totally new for any of them. They don’t have the hindsight of history like we do so he couldn’t have possibly known that this new drug would be this detrimental. For all intensive purposes he just thought he was getting a edge in the already drug game by pushing something new. Yeah he’s always been more focused on making money and taking care of his ppl, but he literally told teddy he didn’t know the cost it would come at. A lot folks just take in what they want to about a character to fit the narrative They already have for them

The Endless

This ain’t a spoiler Kuz the show only hints at it here and there. Manboy runs the Compton Crips and Skully runs the Inglewood Bloods. Manboy just shot up Skully’s apartment complex. And skully on his way to go get back

von

ok i just watched episode 8. and i have a prediction. you know how Franklin's ex gf's dad, the cop, was talking to his friend about franklin's files. And the other cop was explaining how the cia hired a sniper who use to cut off his victim's left thumb, to show that the CIA are demons. I think that this shit is gonna catch up to franklin, and somehow someway, the way he gets out is being hired by the CIA.

Themperor Xaquayza

I know some people didn't like this episode as a finale ( or in general) but for me not only was this a perfect finale to the season but one of the best written episodes of Snowfall. The parallels, foreshadowing, and dialgoue in this episode was top tier and the cinematography was amazing. So much setup for future events all started with this episode so it makes sense why it was the Finale. Can't wait for S4!

KiRissa

Cane Franklin the beginning of "The Saint" fr

KiRissa

bro I was thinking this too. I got so damn into this show I ended up watching the entirety of season 4 after watching this reaction.

Mr. Glasses

Leon and Louie don’t have kids, and Franklin would of been knew teddy was cia if that was the case

Keshaun Johnson

i enjoy re-watching this series with yall i just noticed this is probably the breaking point for Jerome getting out the game. The reason i pointed this part out is when he seen all those bodies on the ground at the apartment and correct me if im wrong but i completely forgot that him and peaches was war vets and seeing this in his own city reminded him of war and this what broke him and why why he was looking like that walking around at all the bodies

JRock

What i dont get it. Why dont they recast a new actor or actress. It just feels unfinished. The same with Penny from Warrior.

Bob Bob

@Ajwidascope people can't read

Chai

I guess Karvel robbing Franklin and getting shot is a cannon event.

The thing that flows

Yes, it's a "parallel universe," but Franklin did go to college, so it's likely a mixture of what really happened and what could have

A. P.

Y’all should just blow Patreon away and watch s4 all 10 episodes next week 💯🤷🏾‍♂️🔥 I said it and everybody was thinking it 🤷🏾‍♂️

Dalvin Williams

It’s the direct rise of gang violence AND crack/drugs on the streets of the 80s. They give u a rough correlation w/ the background current events (news) of wats goin on timeline wise, if u catch the less obvious ones

BoofMaster Flex

Why is that bad? It just shows how no matter what, a black man in the 80's had VERY limited options in his life. No road was gonna be easy for him

Yendis The Great

I hate Roshi and Lupa for putting that Flip the script idea in my head because that actually sounds interesting now.

Kisuke01

i dont think he means saving it in that way just not letting a full on war happen and the community be COMPLETELY destroyed with all the houses rundown and folks on that stuff

rickie woodson

had to look it up to find out what happened to mel.........glad i did since they didnt address it in this ep. on to season 4 and hopefully oso being folded in to the "family"

rickie woodson

One thing that I always loved since ep1 in this show was the cinematography! I really enjoy the use of color and the shots.

Zion Noland

which is why this episode was bad. It could be inferred that Franklin had a decent chance of ending up in the drug game based off circumstances. But nah they wanted to use a season finale to drive that point home.

Kozmo

That literally has nothing to do with the beginning part of this episode lmao.. it was just showing that Franklin was gone end up working for the CIA (Teddy) no matter what lifetime or universe he was in

Damarcus Miller

I mean, if it wasn't a continuing TV show yeah he shoulda just left haha.

Twin Hallow

That was just an excuse to keep selling drugs and shit lol. He isnt actually trying to make the community better. Or that is what I got out of this ep at least.

Twin Hallow

Y’all remember Franklin said he went to college for a bit?

Zion Noland

Yeahhhhh she’s from O block? 🤣

Mr. Nobody

Last scene is crazy symbolic rewatching the show

Dontsop Keran

?

TrinitytheApostle

is you ok?

eastbaynick

How skully was acting I believe that

Kk

ahh we on the They Cloned Franklin episode

mal

Inglewood Family Bloods. According to my cousin Roscoe, a sixty year old OG crip, them niggas were the devil in real life.

Michael Blake

He did go to College it’s what would have happened if he stayed and didn’t go the drug route

Ajwidascope

No he means when they said “If he went to college” when Franklin did go

Ajwidascope

Manboy and his crew were wearing blue and some of Skully's crew were wearing red. Yeah, you know what's happening here.

Greg Harrison

Aaaand here we are, folks. Bloods vs Crips. S4 finna be crazy

Julius Gray

Just to clarigy, Manboy and his crew shot up Skully's place and then right after you see Skully with his crew going to get their lick back

Luffy_77

People are forgetting that it’s not just Franklin flooding his community with rock it’s teddy too since he’s smuggling cocaine into the country and giving it to a drug dealer which makes the drug dealer have it cook and sell it in the communities and both of them make money off of it those two are the leading figures of the crack epidemic who are responsible for plaguing the communities I just want people to know teddy is as guilty as Franklin for destroying the communities but the story is still amazing to me

Franklin Saint

Guys some of us won't be here for the next part of Jojo's adaptation Aware

earthphoenix7068

Ehhhh idk if I'm fucking with the way the story is headed. So now Franklin wants to save the neighborhood? After all he did. People can have a change of heart, but his done so much shit already to be like, "yeah nvm". At the end of the day its all about the execution, so depending on how its executed it might turn out good.

EmoBurrito

It's actually kinda sad that with how smart Franklin is he could've done some good in his community but made the dumbass decision to sell drugs and then he wants to act like all of a sudden he cares about there being chaos in the community when he's part of the reason why it's in ruins but he didn't give af before this war happened... BUT it is his responsibility to fix this And for some reason I feel like Mel cleaned up after shooting Franklin. I mean I really hope she did. I just can't see her going back to doing drugs after that. It would suck seeing her locked up 😭

Erica Collins

Y’all peep how Manboy and his crew in the car had all Blue on while other dude and his ppl had all red. Growing of the bloods and crips

cmbbosh

The guy with the camcorder suppose to be John Singleton and skully blood and manboy crip add drugs and money on top they were bound to go at it sooner or later

Leon

Yeah unfortunately Franklin want better for the community.. how about a little responsibility & let him fix the shit show he created? Or atleast try too

Damarcus Miller

Yea I'm with Cissy on this one. I'd take all our shit and move halfway across the country to some place nice and never look back again. Fuck that community 💀

JohnnySmoke

Lord have my mercy it a tv show tf you crying for weird asf 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Fizzy

Franklin can miss me with that "I can't abandon our people" shit. Nigga you are poisoning your people. You have devastated your entire neighborhood with rock. He saw a mother addicted to rock with her baby in a crack house and didn't care, still kept selling. He saw his own childhood friend getting addicted and ruining their lives and still keeps selling. He walks the streets and sees it filled with rock addicts and does not bat a single eye and sleeps just fine at night. He watched Leon put a bullet in a young kids head cuz the kid said something he didn't like. This man don't gaf bout "his people", he don't wanna quit cuz he enjoys being in the game. It's that simple. All that "our people" shit is a deflection and a cover up

Alexis Sullivan

Jerome: I heard they was fucking you in county? yeeeaauhhhhh lmao

Wavy Jones!

Random Spike Lee jr showing up surprised they didn’t catch that

Patrone07

Fucking Sliding Doors ass episode. My least favorite trope with a TV show. The parallel universe episode. No matter the genre there’s always one of these episodes.

Lamaree Jackson

I mean do you really want him to quit after he’s come this far?? I’m confused on what you want him to do. It’s not like he can just up & leave

Damarcus Miller

This dumbass nigga Franklin talking revolution after destroying his neighbourhood - it really be ya own people fr. This unwell dog. I can't wait to see him go on to ruin whatever else he gains from here on

Franklin wasn't getting away with 35mil scott free

Y’all just don’t know what y’all in for the ride just gettin started 😬😁

DeAndre Glover

Please stay safe and hopefully we’ll hear from y’all on Thursday 🙌

Simple Fan

Cane Franklin the best Franklin fr

Andy

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hasnain Khan

I appreciate what they were trying to do with this episode but this shouldn't have been a season finale, the last episode definitely had that season finale vibe to it.

Devin B

I think every episode from this point really solidifies damson’s skill as an actor-definitely a future goat

Lord Of Frog's Congolese Uncle

Legitimately scared for your future if you watched that whole episode and thought it was just a flashback lmao.

Mollywopper

Also, I think the point the writers were making is that no matter which path Franklin chooses, he gets screwed by the system, his community is in shambles and it's up to him to save them. It's likely that Franklin in the other universe joins the CIA and works to better his community. This being a parallel to how he plans to work with Teddy and the CIA here to better his community. All of this defines the core of Franklin as a person. He's meant for more than just dealing drugs to fill his pockets. He's meant to save his community which I assume is what he's planning to do in the seasons coming up.

Quintin

Man I am early

Tancho21

Franklin was dead for 3 minutes...I'd watch a Franklin in Borderland spin-off.

Alfredo

Lol y’all was really on joke time this episode. Awesome reaction though! And people have already said it but just reiterating. Manboy is actually that guy in Compton, he’s a known Crip not just some random hustler. And in the same fashion Skully runs Inglewood and is a known Blood. And they may be family but only because Skully is with Manboys sister. As for the early scene with Manboy and Skully there was a shootout between the two, bloods vs crips so there’s obvious tension. And with no Franklin around there’s also a power vacuum. Hope this clears up any questions you guys had and have a good weekend!

Kevin

The said the kid with the camera was supposed to be John singleton

Stanley

Roshi was right, it's a parallel universe. They hinted at that during the lecture, Leon having a kid with Wanda and already having been to jail, Alton being dead, Teddy working in DC instead of LA and Franklin quitting Cho's after getting robbed all of which were completely different from the main universe.

Quintin

Blood on the leaves LMAO

JxdonRA

Franklin was looking like Lester with that cane...we need a Snowfall DLC.

Alfredo

Y’all should watch Hamilton

losinmymindd_

Season 4 🔥🔥is fireeee

JJ

FYI manboy shot up Skully place they beefing they ain't touch Jerome cause he wasn't involved just witness the aftermath. BTW manboy the leader of the Compton crips skully the keaderbof the Inglewood bloods

Kk

Its a parallel universe Franklin dropped out and never met teddy, this one he was kicked out and met teddy

Kk

Teddy doesn’t stand out so I can see him being forgotten, especially after losing his contact card

Fred_D3

It’s a parallel universe dawg. It’s really more so Franklin deep in his thoughts thinking about if he never would have started selling drugs. When did Franklin ever meet Teddy before season 2? You don’t think he would remember a guy like him? It’s not a flashback. Leon had a baby in this episode. Does Leon have kids? Lol

JavonR92

Last Day of my Patreon and yall just Blessed me with this Finale 🙏😭

treyyy

Ngl S4 finna be nun but action fr

treyyy

I remember watching when this first aired thinking.🤔 what the fuck is this?! Is the nigga dead or not?

Jamaal Ellison

Damson Idris has been amazing playing as Franklin saint his acting skills is top notch 🤌

Franklin Saint

I’m pretty sure this ain’t a parallel universe & just a regular flashback, in season 1 they talked about how Franklin dropped out of college

Fred_D3

s4 is my favorite

Futuristic Girl

The end with the apartment complex full of dead bodies is at least top 10 scenes in the entire show . Also, Think another part of why it was different was cause they were doing a tribute to john singleton who was referenced by that kid with the camera in the projects. Fine to say the alternate reality stuff was boring but when it goes back to formula that shit is still great imo.

Angel

Probably the weakest season finale in the series, still a good episode nonetheless

JayzWrld

I have no clue how you could watch this episode and think this really happened. What, it happened in the past, and Franklin and Teddy both just forgot in the current timeline that Franklin saw Teddy hosting some seminar to recruit into the CIA, and Teddy came to his house to try and directly recruit him? You think this happened after episode 9 and somehow Teddy and Franklin got mindwiped and forgot about each other?

Louis Kalman

So what

Slim jimmy

Its a parallel universe . What would have happened if Franklin went to college after highschool.

Angelo

that apartment complex that was shot up belongs to Scully. Jerome put his hands in the air when they were walking by to show he had no involvement in what happened

Kurumi

Manboy season is coming

Cabral

I like this episode on its own but not a season finale

John Strickland

this was a bad episode when it initially aired, remember people complaining about it.

Kozmo

it was bad when it aired, people hated it.

Kozmo

Exactly the show producers tried flexing their creativity and its just ass

Danger Tomato

5 mins into this episode I knew I wasn't going to like it and I was right! Worst episode of the series to me.

Joshua

This episode does show a different reality tho, his aunt doesn't have a kid and he never met Teddy before pushing coke

FxyssxlM23

Its literally an alternate universe

Josh

Crack!!!

Jose Angel Martinez

It wasnt a fever dream..Franklyn went to College then quit early. How did they miss that

Darion Vogt

Danger Tomato
