This is one of my favorite episodes. Lupa had me dying 😂 Leon's actor (Isaiah John (two-first-name-having-ass nigga)) killed that scene in the jail, made me wanna go find me somebody to knock out too lol. The emotion in this episode (and reaction) was truly visceral. I always hate seeing Alton's scenes so much, because he and his story remind me of a family member but that's a testament to how well his character is written and played and how real this show is.

I apologize for the long text. I think the issue with Teddy is his control issues and his selfishness with everyone, trying to fight for a goal that no one cares about that much besides him Teddy is getting colder and colder with ppl as well. His ex wife even said it he goes to deep and gets so focused on completing the task that its like f**k everyone else. Now everyone in the show has their flaws but what I noticed with teddy is that he is willing to discard anyone and everyone else if they are not focused on his mission or in his way of his mission. Lucia and Franklin have flaws but at the same time they still have some family or ppl close to them that they are trying to hold on to that they may not be able to ever discard from their lives no matter how much that person may piss them off or disagree with them. Nor does Teddy communicate with anyone unless he needs something. Teddy currently doesnt have this relationship right now with anyone, not even with Matt completely. He only wanted Matt because he killed his last pilot and having Matt around is someone he can work with that will listen to him always even when he is mad at him. Matt is hurt now so more than likely Teddy is going to send him back home and never call him again because Matt can't do anything for him anymore. I'm not saying he never cared for his brother, but the reality was he only ever went to see him because he needed something and thats it. Like he does with his ex wife, franklin and avi. He even said it to lorena and low key he means it for everyone. Franklin is important to him for now, but if he had the option he would dump them all in 2 seconds flat. He takes " its just business" to the extreme sometimes and he only "holds it down" because he doesn't like to make the effort to find new ppl to work with and learn their quirks and interests so they wont get in his way of his war. With him I feel like there is a coldness all around when he is working with ppl because while other characters (avi, franklin, and lucia) viewed it as that they are working together just to get their piece, while Teddy views it as they are working for me and for my goal which is the only important goal. Franklin said at the end of the episode Reed works for the government and now we work for him.

I LOVED the Season 2 finale when I first saw it. This prison episode was so good. Ugh. Great development for Franklin's character moving forward. WHEW. I also loved Leon in this episode. Lee has always been a hothead but he loves his boy Franklin so much. Watching their friendship over the seasons, the ups and downs, has been one of my favorite things. Season 3 is even BETTER Roshi so I can't wait for those reactions!

Just to let you know y’all know that each season Franklin loses a little something. First season was his normal life/innocence, second season was his trust and best friend. Next season will be a very crazy ride. Love seeing how emotional y’all get. Even Lupa look like he went through prison with him. Franklin is having a Heisenberg moment as well. And I love how they started to set Louie up to be his right hand woman. Also wanted to point out few motifs. Franklin constantly saying it’s “bout business” and Teddy constantly referencing that this is for the greater good of America. Both are slowly devolving into their delusions and for what? (Kevin dying and Matt basically permanently traumatized). The only reason why Teddy wanted Matt was because he is easier to control, not because of trust.
