2023-07-20 04:19:00 +0000 UTCI love how ultra deduction isn't actually an ability but at the same time rampo does need to actively be using it in order to figure things out. He could've deduced who kamui was at any moment but just decided to do so at that specific time lol. He decided to trust fukuchi just based off of the president which costed him in the end unfortunately. It's such a simple yet effective way of keeping him from deducing it too early.

The idea of the one time ranpo trusting someone fully and it backfires is good writing. Also it fleshes out the character more. But you are not wrong, there are times where it is lazy. I just don't think this one is
