If you estimate that they work 40 hour work weeks which they probably do more, by American standards their hourly rate would be 1312 yen an hour or $9.34 an hour. Considering they have 200 hours unpaid overtime that would be 262500 yen or $1868.21 they aren't being paid a month. Half of their work is being stolen from them.

Then after a few months, I legit sometimes wished that a zombie apocalypse or an alien invasion happens. I cry on the showers too before I go to work. Then sometimes cry on the fire-exit a few minutes before going back in the office. So I relate to this deeply lol. Left that company a few years ago and now happy on my new job.

The crunch issues will become more apparent as the season goes on but there is hope that they can brute force this season of Zom 100 atleast. And let's hope that they can move to an improved structure for future projects.

Also, the first half seems to be a dig at OLM considering the company's name was ZLM in the show even though the new studio seems to be in an even worse condition in terms of time crunch. Also, you saying they might be in the same condition considering the level of animation is extremely accurate.
