Unfortunately, the more time they spend recording, the less time they have for editing, exporting, uploading, and streaming (Roshi and Sheera stream games on YouTube a few days a week, but they don't upload that content here). Roshi talked a bit about what happens "behind the scenes" a few months ago. I've linked the post below. I never realized how much time goes into the reaction process, so it was eye opening for me. I binge watch stuff so maybe that’s my fault for assuming other people do. I think if they binged more stuff they could pre upload more episodes when they wanted tho. My issue isn’t that he doesn’t release enough content. My comment comes from the fact that he has hundreds of requests and it will take years to get through it all. He could probably speed the process up if he did double uploads especially if the show has many seasons. I actually enjoy the upload schedule already, im just giving possible tips for the future. They don’t have to follow it ofc

2023-07-06 19:54:49 +0000 UTCI also found both the CGI and that dude surviving that beating to be very off-putting parts of Baki, but as others have mentioned, this scene is the worst looking CGI in the show iirc. As for the guy Dorian was fighting, I believe that the only reason he "survived" is because Dorian wanted someone at the dojo to kill him by accident when they went to use the bag for normal training. Dorian was purposefully trying to hurt him in ways that would leave him just barely alive (including the wire at the end, which is why he wasn't decapitated).

How would releasing 2 - 3 episodes (per series) on a single day, instead of releasing that same number of episodes throughout the week, allow them to get through more shows? Or did you mean they should double the number of reactions they currently give us in a week? That would be way too much content for them to give us without charging more. Plus, they have lives outside the reaction channel. Roshi already gives us way more content than most other reaction channels.

They show is crazy over the top and always has been, and as such its def a more niche experience. They also jumped in after 40 episodes of setting the pace and expectations of the show too, so that would also be a bit jarring/confusing. This is a show about some of the strongest people in the world duking it out to be THE Strongest, whatever it takes

Not trying to be rude but is it one of those shows that get better after time, or is the goofiness the overall enjoyment of the show? I'm still recovering from Madoka Magica losing the poll to Baki.

2023-07-06 03:55:51 +0000 UTCIt's not an ideal situation, and they should have given us notice (assuming it doesn't drop in the next 20 minutes), but it's pretty rare for them to be late in getting us an upload. Late, as in, wrong day... nothing on their schedule gives you a time or guarantees that every show will drop at the same time. If they were constantly missing their deadlines, I could certainly understand the outrage (we pay for a service), but life is too short to get angry over one or two fairly minor disappointments.

2023-07-06 01:05:51 +0000 UTC(Personal Opinion) Kegan ashura is another fighting anime you guys should check out once y’all finish Baki. I personally like Kegan ashura and I think it’s better than Baki. It’s all 3D CG models and some 2D hand drawn art but its probably the best CG I’ve seen when it comes to fighting anime. It’s very fluid and You can actually follow their movements and feel how impactful the blows are. Also In Baki everyone is just super jacked but in kengan they put a lot more emphasis on each fighter having their own unique style and way of fighting. You can clearly see the moves and the groundgame and the actual difference in which martial arts/fighting styles each character is using. which I think is much better than the Baki's slide sequence + flashes. I read the manga and If the studio had chosen the 2D path with kengan ashura it would've been another Record of Ragnarok.
