So with the Raid series, The first movie was never suppose to happen. It was always about the second movie, but the producers weren't sold on it. So the first Raid movie was like an audition and when it was well received, they decided to move forward with the second movie. Thats why there isn't a 3rd movie because the story is already complete in a sense.

I could be wrong, but I believe the director is also the cameraman for a lot of the shots. The one-shot had multiple wipes, whenever the camera would do a quick pan or 180 they do a wipe into a new shot but looks the same to keep continuity.
