Bloodhounds Ep 2

that fucking cliffhanger

Comments

It's a thing. They were like indirectly disrespecting each other, pretty sure Koreans would understand but I barely could catch on what was going on

el

Drinking scene was weird. Just smashing back a ton before even doing business

Daniel NT

NAH WHOEVER DID THAT CLIFFHANGER GOTTA SEE ME

Vincent Samuel Price

My boy had a Wolfin (HxH) moment... "K.. Ko... Smile Capitol!" ๐Ÿคฃ

HIM

Naaah i sweaaar lmaooo

Wsgyan

Okay and Iโ€™m saying itโ€™s my first time seeing it whatโ€™s wrong with it weirdo ?

Wsgyan

9:40 The old dude said he takes 0% interest so of course it wasn't the old dude from last episode, lol. I might be completely off about this but... 22:00 the dude first said "I am dead to this world, that is how I lived for the last 10 years" then immediately after that he says the dude who ran off after conning 10 billion from loan sharks died... So is he the dude that conned the loan sharks and so is "dead to the world"? lolol. So the $100 billion deal for the casino and bar in the hotel thing: The bad guy that tried to build trust with the rich kid saying "I grabbed a bag and filled it with 6 billion and came to your house and gave it to your family when you were still a baby, your mom was so happy she even gave me some melons" story shit was all cap, thats why the rich kid was like "you didn't think I would ask my mom about your story huh? The dude who came and gave the money was in his mid 40s, 20 years ago, and you still look mid 40s, how?" So basically the story was cap, he said it just to earn the dude's trust. So he gave back the $100 Billion that he took and told him not to involve himself in their family ever again.. meaning I guess the casino and bar deal fell through since the kid paid back the money. The MCs Kim and Hong are brothers to me man, I love how they balance each other, loving the interpersonal relationships with the good guys team: the old man, the girl, and the MC brothers, super dope.

Drake Rage

I thought lupa was born as part of the couch ๐Ÿ˜‚

Miguel NoName

Boxer and a Marine my mom would call my brother first too

Giyuu

Bro the way they ended the episode biggest cliff hanger of them all LOL

RuTo-San

Thanks, this is really helpful!

Norrin Radd

@Aniki Pft watching it again isn't going to change how he feels about it lame ass mofo lol

@Irie bitch that's ironic as fuck considering you're this pressed because dude doesn't like the show lol

@Veauxi its the very definition of mid, an annoying ass cast especially the chick with the emo cut and punchable face. The show is mainly carried by the action imo

its pretty good I'm almost done wit hit and i've really liked it. its not something crazy good but its enjoyable

Novafan

You got it right, Drinking is a definite necessity therefore expected if youโ€™re doing business in South Korea.

blabber90

Oh my wow, craziest cliffhanger I've seen in awhile. Even more so than Demon Slayer lmao

Spriggz

Idk how familiar you guys are with East Asian drinking culture but it's very important for business deals. Here it's dramatised and used as a way for one party to threaten the other, which I'm sure does happen, but typically it's just an essential step in creating a close business relationship. It is normal, in Chinese culture, to drink something called bai jiu (literal translation white alcohol) which is like 60-70% alcohol - it is extremely hard liquor and as far as I was taught is intentionally disgustingly strong so that you can show the party you are doing business with that you are trustworthy and willing to compromise. Im not that familiar with South Korea but they probably use Soju and in Japan its either beer or sake depending on the magnitude of the meeting. However, regardless of the different intricacies, the one common factor is the fact that you are expected do drink a lot a lot - since its like a sign of strength. I personally don't really watch Kdramas and haven't seen any of the ones you've seen other than this so idk how much exposure you've had to that side of East Asian culture but A LOT of business dealings regardless of the amount of money being moved around (million, ten million, hundred million USD etc.) will be held in some kind of restaurant setting, which is why all high end Chinese and Japanese restaurants have private rooms or in the case of high end sushi the entire restaurant might be just used to cater to a single party at a time (like seating 5-10 max).

awwtysm

That cliffhanger was dirty, Wow. That man got punched into the next episode๐Ÿ˜‚

Luis Rodriguez

@Danger Tamato Go grab some friends and watch it again dawg

Aniki Pft

My Name is good, All of Us are Dead too

Tony Aoude

Naaahhhhh now that cliffhanger is a literal, "turn off dat shit" cliffhanger hell naaahhhh ๐Ÿ˜‚

Heavenly Demonic Emperor

another great ep. and they had to with the cliffhanger. thats how they get you to come back next week lol. and i just found out the guy playing woojin has experience in musical theater. like a LOT, about as many musicals as tv shows and waaay more than the movies he's done. even has a few singles out. im waiting for him to spontaneously burst out in song now lol remix that hastag song and dance pony show he tried to sell hyeon ju on

rickie woodson

came to write the same thing lol

rickie woodson

These 2 boys are literally Ying and Yang in personalities. They are way too much fun together! Notice also how 1 is always wearing a black jacket and the other a white one too. It's a 100% intentional

ApplePieOG

Kim Myeong-gil (the villain with the scar) told Hong (the chaebol heir) at their first meeting that his family was indebted to Myeong-gil for loaning his mother money some 20 years ago. Buddy went home and asked his mom about it and the descriptions of his age don't match up with Myeong-gil presently, so he called bullshit on it actually being him. Which it was lol. And since they'll mention it a ton and in case you don't know, chaebols are just the super rich families behind huge industries in Korea. Think of a family that owns Hyundai, LG, or Samsung, and that's essentially who Hong is the son of. They're filthy rich and have huge connections. And yes, Woojin best boy! Love this guy so much lmao.

qitty

Bro I felt inconfortable watching this cause lupaโ€™s T-shirt was looking at me the whole time ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Fatak Scar

Soo uh Villainguy name dropped someone in ep1 and said he gave out a loan. This ep, alcohol guy called him out on it. Said investigations pointed to Villainguy not actually having that much money, plus, the ages not adding up because the loan was long ago

13

yea we need more bloodhounds this week please

Edward Regacho

nah i need more episodes of this a week yall reactions are just too good

emma

At least give it a chance like damn ๐Ÿ’€

Veauxi

KeYo

This is like the third or fourth time Iโ€™ve seen him get off the couch lol.

Earphone Jack

Now that the plot is set in place, it's gonna get wild after this ep ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Shib

Itโ€™s the first time Iโ€™m seing lupa getting out the couch lmaoooo the cliffhanger really was crazy

Wsgyan

Loving the show so far but definitely like some people in here have said, episodes 1 and 2 are pretty slow compared to the rest of the season. Episode 2 had me considering dropping the show but episode 3 locked me in

Kevin

if u missed it in the very beginning of the first ep, the bad guy had told the young rich guy a story of how he saved his family from financial issues by giving them some millions of won and how his dad was on his knees thanking him for it or something. when they were drinking the young rich guy said his mom told him the person who actually gave them the money back then was a guy in his 40s. he was brining it up because obviously the bad guy is in his 40-50s now, so how was he also the guy who apparently saved his family from financial issues back in the day. it didn't add up cuz of the ages so he obviously lied about that story in the beginning. he was basically caught in a lie essentially.

Tyler

i think 3 is a little much, i think 2 is perfect though

Veauxi

since there are many shows that ended this week can we get 2 Bloodhounds episodes a week?

Jappa

Enjoy your show but we've been asking for other shows, this is new and random.

Danger Tomato

They not ready for ep 6๐Ÿ˜ญ

Christopher Whitle

Kdrama of any sort they always have to hit you with the cliffhangers!

VampyreQueenJazmyun

This show is filled with cliffhangers like this

J Man

First half of it is good, but then characters (good guys) become dumb for zero reason

Solemnity

The 3 different reactions at the cliffhanger ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Irieezy.

earthphoenix7068

MM

exactly

Veauxi

they adapted a kdrama of it, story is similar but not a 1 to 1 of it

Veauxi

As in the webtoon Weak Hero?

Manny

this show is straight heat, but if one thing pissed me off about this show, is how unrealistic the car tailing is, like ma'am I SEE YOU, every time i saw it i got annoyed, everything else is fire tho

ItsDualsona

baki is better in action and thats it

Veauxi

which is indeed a poll

Veauxi

you are only 2 episodes in, they are setting the story up, i dont see how its bland

Veauxi

Yes one of the best ive seen

Veauxi

Is show any good? Itโ€™s impossible to know which K Drama to start. Is this it?

Norrin Radd

when they do a trio poll i hope weak hero class 1 wins

mia

Also gun-woo and woo-jin are hella fine, just had to say it ๐ŸŒš

Nicole Guerrero

Yes I think itโ€™s the guy in the wheelchair too, Iโ€™m still unsure

Elle E.

The cliffhangers always raise my anxiety ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Nicole Guerrero

EP 2 my least favorite but it provided needed information, EPS 3-7 are really good. It only gets better & more tragic from here. Iโ€™ll wait to watch EP 8 with you guys.

Elle E.

You know what does everything better? Baki

Chance Lee

Sheeesh trying to give this show a chance but it's kinda bland so far. Plus the dialogue is cringe, especially with bomber jacket guy.

KiRissa

Can we have 2 episode per week for this show please? It is so good !!!

varus ez

I thought last week was a one off with only one episode, don't tell me...

The Pebble

It wasnโ€™t really voted on a poll. Roshi asked if people wanted them to check this out and majority of people said yes. So yeah I guess you can say it won though

Mari

Itโ€™s been good so far, havenโ€™t gotten no mid vibes from this whatsoever

Mari

I love this show but get your facts straight, it didn't win a poll. It ju

Roberto

It was voted on as a poll tf are you on ๐Ÿ’€

Veauxi

That cliffhanger was just Crazy asf ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Mari

THICCY MOMO

Goat hound here to save my Wednesday from mid love to see it

Vongola Fiamme

Itโ€™s a mid show, itโ€™s fine for an episode a week

rkfabricante

Please two episodes per week on this show

Kiran

These cliffhangers are wild

Shib

It has to be illegal to have a cliffhanger like that

bleach

Plus is only 8 episodes I believe

Jorge Viera

Why not? No one asked for this so it's fine

Danger Tomato

one episode a week aint gonna cut it chief

Chezdad

finally! Kim Myung Gil said in the meeting in ep.1, he was the one who brought the money to lend and save the corp 20 years ago. The young guy later asked his mom and found out that the one who brought the money to his family was in his mid forties 20 years ago. The guy should be in his sixties. I think the guy who brought the money was mr. choi (the one with wheelchair) because the marine guy said that mr. Choi is the only person who worked directly for Mr. Bang who is the richest in loan business and lent the corp money to save them.
