Ever since the relationship between yuki, yui, and hachiman has become robotic and superficial, they stopped adding stickers.

I get what you mean when you say that hachiman has actually been basically helping hayama's group keep that facade and I think hachiman himself has started himself to realize that thats not the correct way to do things. Its almost as if hes putting a piece of tape on a leak, it aint gonna hold forever. I think, like shira said, he wants something opposite of what that hayama's group has, an honest and true relationship where he can be free to be open to yuki and yui and they can do the same with him. I think a really important part of his speech last episode is where he says something along the lines of I want A relationship where its okay to "burden" the other person and for the other person to "burden me. He wants to understand what its like to be able to be open and vulnerable with someone else and for someone else to be open and vulnerable with him.

It must be hard having to navigate friendships when you have to worry about rejecting your friends if one of them catches feelings. Usually we hear about women having to reject male friends when they catch feelings which usually means fucking up friendships or friend groups as a consequence. I think it’s interesting to see that from male‘s perspective. Hayato having to almost constantly be rejecting girls who only see him for his physical appearance and his nice guy personality is interesting. I kind of understand why he wants to preserve the fragile friend group he has. I could easily a situation happening with Hayato being isolated from people because guys don’t want to be around him since he pulls girls’ eyes away and women being afraid of being labeled as a slut for hanging around him or being rejected by Hayato him if they catch feelings. I wonder if this is part of the reason why the blonde one hasn’t officially confessed to Hayato but made her feelings obvious, so she won’t get rejected and make the group awkward.

Which can lead to unrealistic expectations and scrutiny for a guy whos just like them. Hes supposed to be the "nice guy" so its, he'll always be able to help despite him having s life "he wouldn't turn down and hurt the feelings of a cute young girl like that."

Her becoming the student council president would’ve been something she did, that her sister didn’t. But she can’t act without a reason, so when 8man took away her reason to finally act she assumed he would understand, in protecting her she feels like he undermined her ability to finally mold an identity.

Yukino notices something that her sister and Hikigaya has and even though she can't put a name to the thing that they have she sees it and knows that it is something that she wants. Also most of the dialogue in the show is confusing because we're listening to these kids trying to make sense of their confusion.

Even if Hikigaya notices these things that doesn't mean he understands the reason behind it.
