Itaewon Class Ep 6

yall gonna hate me, but his decision making is lowkey selfish lol

Comments

Which is funny to me because she’s never worked for them. She just said they offered to support her college living? So your unjust anger is killing me 😭

Tellyg47

Ain't nobody with a functioning brain gonna disagree on that statement

Azel !!

Bro owns $1,785,714.28 of their company.

Jacob Crooks

I knew he'd show up. I knew it. God damn it my sheeragan was at full power

Lxrd Vegeta

Sheera: But you can't have opps at meetings bro! That is so right, why the heck did Saeyori let Soo-ah into their team meeting, especially since he still thinks she called the cops to shut them down and might continue to sabotage them.. like wut? lmao. I need more clarity about Saeyori, cause you can't be good/polite and stuff 100% of the time and expect to be successful, what's next? if the opp comes and politely asks him his detailed business plan, then he would have to give it to them cause its the polite thing to do? lolol. Saeyori's simp shit is destroying his logic, lmao.

Drake Rage

32 million won is about 24k dollar

Hamse Meygag

I just love how we hate Soo Ah just because haha, i mean she actually didn't do anything wrong, but we can't just trust her HAHA

Nani Campos

Just to clarify, him telling Soo-Ah about the show had nothing to do with it getting cancelled. It was the fact that the guy was also apart of the project that led it to being cancelled. If he said anything to her or not, it would have went down the same way.

Revurus

It's intriguing how similar Saeyori and Chairman Jang are in a certain way. I feel like Saeyori would be the perfect heir for Jang's company because both of his sons are useless lmao

Lola

Lmao

Lola

Not Roshi calling chairman Jang "Dracula" 🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀

Irieezy.

Lmao i said the same thing when i got finished but maybe he looking at it from a different perspective cause revenge wise I definitely think glory was better

kingBD

soo ah is a difficult character to look into. its hard to like her cause the way she does things. but it will all come together. she's kind of in a hard position at the moment. wanting to trust that saeroyi will build up his company but then also wanting to secure a very nice job she knows for sure she will have for a long time. think of soo ah's character kind of like azula from avatar (especially if you read the books after), but... a little less villainy. hard character to understand but once you do you start to feel bad and understand her more. also, soo ah did not tell Jangga about the tv show, she had only found out jangga was on it when she received the phone call, thats why she was so upset. she prob didnt think of the possibility that the company could be on the show to affect saeroyi's company. it's another showcase of her being in between the both of them.

Kayla LaRae

i was just looking to see if anyone wrote this

Kayla LaRae

No one recommends the good kdramas to them..

Danger Tomato

Ok some of y’all in the comments are mad annoying if you don’t like the show then don’t watch the reaction, it’s that simple. Y’all dragging it at this point, we get it you think it’s mid and boring here’s a 🍪 okay 😁

Kameron Renae

holy FUCK this player sucks man lmaoooooo love this show and channel but holy shit

SupremeCai

Ain't no way yaboyrocklee said that this is better than The Glory

Cheyenne Predium

man I really used to enjoy k dramas when I was younger, but now all the melodrama and dumb decisions the characters make really annoy me lol

EmoBurrito

Y'all made up that Soo-Ah told about the TV show and ran with it. First off her and Geun-won don't talk like that so her making a plan with him to sabotage the meeting doesn't make sense. If it was any other employee from the company, there wouldn't be any problem. And TV show is about who's the best pub so of course Jangga pub would already be there.

Ebankz

I don't understand how y'all concluded Soo-Ah told about the TV-show. I didn't even think that she did that at all when I watched it.

Klinton O

Yeah, I guess she was thinking that she was part of jangga pub or something, all she wanted was a part time job 😂

Mari

Sheera really had it out for that random pretty girl just looking for a part time job 😭

Rosie

I'll give you that she all sorts of annoying XD

Mounya Kamidjigha

Soo ah just an ass character imo

Beast Boy

Listen, whether or not Soo-Ah got him shut down or not the 2nd time is irrelevant. Just like it doesn’t matter that she didn’t call the cops, because she didn’t try to stop it either. She made her own choices, and those choices put wealth & success over her relationship with Saeroyi. A person who was victimized directly by said pursuit of wealth, who lost his father to it essentially. Now for whatever reason Saeroyi is just blinded by his love for her and just accepts everything she does, but that doesn’t make it right. If you wanna be wealthy, fine. The moment she decided Jangga was the move she should’ve left Saeroyi alone completely. And his complete acceptance of her puts the people under him through more trials. Soo-Ah sucks, but Saeroyi is getting on my nerves more for being cool with it

DreAKAWolves

Regardless of whatever decision soo Ah made throughout the show, I couldn't get over episode 2 (or whenever it was) when she decided to work for Jangga. A company owned by the same man who got saero-yi expelled, asked him to beg for forgiveness, and then covered up his father's murder. It wasn't even like some time in the future she made the decision, like the man was still in the midst of a tragic situation. It always seems like the show just conveniently forgets about it, or tries to justify it to the viewers. It doesn't sit right for me, she sucks, and I think it's another factor among others that kept me from enjoying this show.

Sundays

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hasnain Khan

True but if she quits or leaves her job she going against what he’s father taught her and him he told her live your life go to school getting a successful job make money and she doing that and he understands exactly that’s why he is the way he is because he doesn’t want her to compromise her hard work she did over the course of those years for a simple quit

Candy

I think Ranking of kings is coming back will u react to it?

Jorginho

She didn't do anything about the tv show. Geun-won was already applied and complained to the director pretty sure.

earthphoenix7068

Did y'all notice park saeroyi's actor in The Marvels teaser trailer?

J Man

sheera never reads the room lol

britt

nah, she didn't snitch on Saeroyi. i really love this show, and was happy to see a black person in it too (the first time I watched it), which is rare in a korean show.

Rena Unnie

True but she is still very annoying

varus ez

What a simp the MC is.

stupeyca

yea roshi and sheera clapping themselves not reading the room, she didnot say anything about the shows it was just a coincidence that he was there at the same time

Candy

W comment

Shu

What did she even do?

Shu

Yeah she annoying af this love triangle is the most annoying part of this show

Imari

Roshi please read this. The eldest Jannga son said he was already working on the Best pub show and he even saw Saeroyi at the TV broadcasting station. It isn't even Soo-ah's fault. Whether or not she said anything about the show, buddy was going to shut it down for Saeroyi cause he don't like him.

Mad4Life

I am glad you pointed out Saeroyi's flaw. Because I definitely agree that it is selfish. Yes, it is his company, people say he is a people person but to put your business plan out there is putting everyone's work in jeopardy. These little details will come around in the future too.

NewKidsLoveAndFall

i’m still shit at conjugations but 단 is a form of 달다 (dalda) which specifically means “sweet” in the context of “sugar-y”, i think. otherwise they use dalkomhada.

Bria A.

I agree both shows are pretty mid

slipHAZARD

“Don’t lie and say she’s aggravating” Sir I’ve watched this show four times and she’s aggravating *to me*. If not by her professional moves (which, like I said, I can actually understand to an extent), then just by the way she treats Saeroyi and their friendship. I didn’t even say anything particularly mean or harsh, and you don’t have to share my opinion.

Bria A.

Great reaction, but ya'll misunderstood something. Soo-Ah actually didn't snitch it was a coincidence the other bastard was at the show since he was working on it. That's why she was surprised and upset at the call she recieved from him, and also didn't understand when Saeroyi was upset at her. But I give it to you that it was quite subtle. I think in this show Soo-Ah is going to be misunderstood a lot, tho she actually kinda fishy herself lol

Mounya Kamidjigha

You like Kekai Sensen, stop it bro.

Mad4Life

Why was this show so popular when it came out? This show is kinda mid.

MM

oh shit the debut of yaboytoni lmaoo but roshi come on not everyone thinks about ass like you bro thats all you can come up with when talking about people like him. he is in love with her. hes her weakness. i will agree with you that he is being selfish he is letting his feelings get in the way of his business

KeYo

We shouldn't forget that Soo Ah's job is pretty amazing though, close with the chairman and not even thirty. I get Saeroyi, she has a great career and shouldn't have to ruin it for a relationship they have not even started. She should treat him as a competitor not a friend. Saeroyi knows Soo Ah wants to be successful too. Plus it doesn't really matter what he says to her, because Geun Soo works at DanBam too and for all he knows he could be a spy as well.

Aery

I don't think she told about the tv show, dude son said he was working with them and saw saeroyi and that's shy she got mad

Jorge Viera

I mean they can still be friends but anything related to business should stay out of their relationship, because she is literally talking the information she receives and reporting it to Janga Ceo and that is hurting his business.

Red Ted

Facts lmao

Abhideep Sinha

All I can say is Saeroyi’s love is making him blind

Jacob The weird

Actually I think it's using the translation of 'sweet' for 단 (dan). So the full name would be 'Sweet night'. Like how his dad told him that Soju will taste sweet when you have a fulfilling day. One of the OST songs made for this drama is also called 'sweet night' so I think that's what they were going for.

B

saeroyi, sooah and yiseo are too stubborn ah i can't wait to see y'alls reactions for the upcoming chaos

yoongi

It's just like Yen, but divide by 10 an extra time. ;)

Sriad

If you two have trouble converting from won to usd, I like to take out the last 3 digits and you'll get an estimate (i.e. 3,000 won is like $2-ish). Also Toni's actor (Chris Lyon) is Jamaican-American, looking forward to Roshi's kdrama debut in the future 😂

Shib

But she didn't tell them about the TV show, that dick just happened to be working on the same show😂😂, he has plans for his plans, I'm sure that's why he's not worried.

Daniel

it's pretty well synced in the beginning, so I think it is the frame rate thing when they export the video.

min

Sooah is really annoying, I’m glad y’all are watching this so I can finish it bc I for sure would have dropped it bc of her 😩 I personally don’t even want them to end up together lmao

PetersThimble

geunwoo's actor is giving korean joker. he is really good at playing unstable and that psychotic laugh is and crooked smile is everything. SLAYING the performance...but i feel like ive seen it before and i cant remember what movie it is. same mannerisms and facial expressions done by a gangster character. so much so that its coming off as an imitation and not pure talent.

rickie woodson

literally the only thing she's told jangga is that saeroyi's pub is doing well, he wants to franchise it, and he's a good leader who is trusted by his staff. that is the least OP person i've ever seen lol

Jay rellim

Guen-won is in charge of the show itself and was there when saeroyi walked in. this is not soo-ah's fault!! she did not tell Guen-won about this nor tell him to go. this is why Guen-won was surprised. then he got them cancelled. it's not soo-ah's fault. it would have happened regardless. yall getting so worked up over false conclusions lol which sucks bc it's biasing how you view the characters.

Jay rellim

finally, my debut episode jk jk jk lol been waiting for the brother to show up

rickie woodson

THIS

Jay rellim

total guess based on my korean vocab so this could be wrong if danbam is one word and not two words but: dan means just and bam means night. so the pub is called just night. thats a literal translation but in translating so it sounds more natural we interpret so Only the Night or simply The Night (with the understanding that its only in this moment). so could mean something deep, like we only have this one life to live so lets live it up in this ONE night. if danbam is one word then i dont know. like hanbeon means once, but separate the two syllables, han means one and beon is a counter unit so hanbeon and han beon are not the same as danbam and dan bam wouldnt be either. hope that helps :)

rickie woodson

I think it’s important to remember that Sae-ro-yi knows what his enemy CEO Jang is capable of in terms of the fact that Jang has the money, power, and resources to cover up Sae-ro-yi’s dad’s murder. Sae-ro-yi keeps telling Soo-ah “I don’t care whatever you do to me. I told you. Don’t worry about me. Whatever you do, I’ll be just fine” because her telling Jang info about his pub doesn’t matter. He knows that at the end of the day Jang doesn’t need Soo-ah to get info about him and DanBam, Jang can easily get it without her and sabotage them if he really wanted too since he has the money, power, and resources from being the #1 Food Company in Korea. So, I just can’t be too hard on Soo-ah because I feel like the result would be same with or without her and Sae-ro-yi knows it. So, if you really think about it, Park Sae-ro-yi is coming with “HIM” energy because he said go tell my enemy everything, it doesn’t matter, they can come at me as much as they want, it’s only natural since I’m their enemy, it won’t deter me, I'll still crush them.

AllanJ

Just to clarify, Soo-ah never told them about the TV gig, that was 100% coincidence. It's why she was upset when 1st son called her and mentioned it to her. Also, while she has given information to Jengga regarding his goals, she never actively moved against him or attacked him and his pub. Like Roshi said, it's part of the business aspect of what they're making her do. Ultimately she cares more about herself, but won't directly stand against Saoryi cuz she also cares for him. That's my interpretation for the scenario. Looking forward to the next episode.

Alexander Joseph Cruz

Don't lie and say she is aggravating. She isn't doing anything wrong, she even told the main character. It's her job. She hasn't even been saying anything thing that's confidential or anything the MC doesn't want spread.

Devante Vickers

@Devante he really doesn't care, and it is his company but making your employees life harder for a jangaa employee....pay them more. Also everything under control is a stretch but he the MC so who knows. @vilgax she not part of the team, hell she's on the other team. It being awkward doesn't make her an OP the fact that she's gonna go tell Korean Palpatine every bit of news she hears (which you can say is her job) makes her an OP.

Garlic

Nah, I tried watching this show because everyone says it’s super good but every character pissed me off…including the main character. I think I was like a few episodes away from finishing the show and just could not anymore. I’m super happy they included people that wouldn’t typically be shown in Korean shows but I just couldn’t. I think a really good show to go to after the Glory is Weak Hero Class- the true epitome of "F*ck around and find out". I gave that a shot after looking at the reviews and it was SUPERB!

Today's Struggle

You guy’s are definitely gonna find Saeroyi a bit more aggravating 1 more time. After that it’s full steam ahead, for those who know.

Shiratoshi

I feel you guys on the foolishness but how I interpreted Saeroyi as a character this ep is that he's very confident that he can pursue both Sooah and expansion of the business which is why he doesn't necessarily think about how theyre both negatively affecting the others. He just sees it as "this is what I feel I should do and what I think is right, and whatever set backs come from this, I will overcome anyways". He did keep this big 2 billion won investment from Soo-ah a secret though, so I guess there is some sort of boundary hes aware of. Im sure if it comes down to his peoples bag he would sacrifice his own for them to stay working with him. But i feel like he just made a commitment to take down Jangga asap because he realises thats the only way she will be free to date him.

Rosie

Soo-ah is admittedly very aggravating throughout this show but I also have come around to acknowledging that her ultimate goal is self-preservation. And not even maliciously, just…desperately? Desperation can be uncomfortable to watch, and I’m not gonna throw spoilers out, but I hope you eventually come around to her too. Admittedly she’s not even close to my favorite female character on the show, she’s probably like…fifth, if that lmao. Also, the TV thing sucked, but was also coincidental and just out of Geun-won’s spite. P.S. I’m usually not one to throw out recommendations on unrelated posts, but Yi-seo’s mom’s actress plays a completely unhinged ass antagonist on Vincenzo if y’all are ever interested!

Bria A.

I thought it was the chairman's son who took DanBam out of the show. Soo Ah never told them about DanBam being in the cooking show. The Chairman's son found out because he met Saeroyi at the cooking show offices.

Psychopomp

Ngl I wouldn’t continue watching this show if y’all weren’t reacting to it. The narrative is getting repetitive when it’s already slow. Still good tho but eh

Zarvick

Soo Ah never told anyone about DanBam being on TV

Merk Mesni

Wasn't it 1.9 billion won he had invested? If it is, he has 1,446,561 million invested in Janga

Kumi Chan

The Soo-ah slander was going crazy this episode lol.

thegosthofvilgax

Soo-ah never gave the information... It was implied in her conversation with the 1st son

bayance

audio de-sync making me go cray cray

Jappa

Please don't hate Soo ah TT

min

I feel like they keep underestimating Saeroyi. Yes in a way he's "blinded" by love, but at the same time he knows "I'm him". He's fully confident in his plans and his ability to bounce back from any potential setbacks that may come from Soo-Ah leaking any info to the competition.

thegosthofvilgax

Also none of the employee's consider her an OP. The only reason it was awkward at the table is cause Yiseo was making it awkward

thegosthofvilgax

Soo Ah is so annoying 💀

varus ez

I love how they're just constantly misreading Soo-ah's intentions and what information she is and isn't giving them. Shoo-ah never told Guen-Won or his dad about their plans to be on TV. Guen-won was literally in charge of the show itself and just so happen to be there when Saeroyi walked in. Unnecessary Soo-ah slander around these parts lol

thegosthofvilgax

I feel the same exact about So-Ahh and that my man’s is a Simp

Mari

damn they rly dont like Soo-ah 💀💀

Alan

Yeah I was gonna say they same thing, they got the wrong assumption on that. Jjanga just happened to also be on the show

Kid.Chi

All good just wondering appreciate the answer

Gindread

This man has a years of planning, you think he is worried because he is telling the "Op" something. Yall worrying about something he isn't even worrying about. The stuff he is even saying is even got to keep it secret worthy. Plus he has been the same since day one, if you're getting mad at him that mean you have no faith in him.

Devante Vickers

I think she told him she called the police as a punishment to herself. Just thinking about it and dialing, even if she didnt go through with it, was the worst thing she could have done to someone who supported her and loved her

Magikarp

For one, he doesn't care, it is his company. He has everything in check. All that info they are talking about can easily be tracked.

Devante Vickers

Yeah dude invited a whole OP to the team dinner. I'd be pissed if I was his employee. He should start handing out more of those 'work twice as hard' checks..

Garlic

is sooah gonna repay this man the money his dad put up for her schooling or?

britt

Tomorrow like always lol if you want real like criticism on these questions just look up schedule on roshi feed and when you check it make sure you check the difference between your timezone and theirs which is EST depending on timezone a show for schedule on Thursday could be Friday for you

Donovan Doyle

IMPORTANT - Soo-ah never told Jjanga about Danbam being on The Best Pub show. They were already in the show and happened to be in the same meeting. I just want you guys to judge the character for what she’s actually doing instead of stuff she hasn’t done. I understand the frustration with her character though - it gets hard to tell where she stands

Don Kim

I get your frustration. I have almost dropped the show multiple types because of the girl

Jasmin36

Oreigaru coming today or tomorrow?

Gindread

Nah, Mom is half right. You shouldn't be staking your future jobs based off a person you like. Especially your boss. That can end bad in so many ways. And the age gap included. She is smart, but the decision was very silly. She never once said she wants to work there for anything else but for him. That's not healthy

Devante Vickers
