2023-05-27 01:32:08 +0000 UTCwhen you understand you're dead, it's completely natural to try to get all your final thoughts and regrets out. this is the end, there IS no other chance you will get. especially considering all of ai's life was about her struggle to find and understand love, her realization that she truly, genuinely loved ruby and aqua was a huge final comfort for her. remember, shock is also rapidly setting in, and her ability to think clearly is rapidly deteriorating as well. I can't imagine the grief she experienced knowing she can no longer do anything for her one and only true loves, but at least she found some comfort in realizing her biggest fear, that she wouldn't be able to genuinely feel with all her being that she loved her children, was unfounded in the end.

Imagine John Lennon saying something similar when he got assassinated, it wouldn’t feel far off. (One of the accusations of the fan that killed him was that he’s hypocritical, that he sang stuff like foregoing possessions in Imagine while the industry milked fans for profits and he mostly lived a comfortable lifestyle. Such stuff is a perennial paradox for stars and you may even say for human beings as a whole.)

Many times when you get stabbed or if you’re shot and you’re not already passed on the scene they will want you to talk for as long as humanly possible until help arrives. They usually want to keep you conscious. But even outside of that people who are in high stress situations like in an emergency if they aren’t so who naturally goes into panic mode, they can be a person who goes in to eat very talkative state like just in a way to keep like aware, so technically, it’s pretty valid. It also depends on how deeply stagger he stopped her enough to cause a lot of blood, but it would still take a few minutes for her to bleed out so the scene was probably pretty legit.

And that only made me more worried. A studio that only produces mid stuff, a director and art staff that doesn't have an amazing CV, Voice actress (except ai cuz her VA is stacked) that is new in the VA business... like it just feels like it'll be a bad adaptation, and oh boy was my worries for nothing. The first ep is amazing

This show definitely caught my attention on all levels comedy wise and drama wise but now they added a whole mystery aspect to it and I can't wait to see how it plays out. I've been reading the manga for over 2 years and I couldn't have been happier and sadder with this flawless adaptation. This is quite literally the best first episode I have ever seen. Yoasobi doing the opening is just too much for me. I know Roshi and gang aren't too into the specifics for shows they're just getting into, but to other big Yoasobi and Oshi no Ko fans, please watch the opening music video on YouTube. Had me in tears, especially with the ending, I truly used to pray for times like these. Doesn't mean much but this is already also number one on myanimelist, the ranking doesn't matter but this just shows how loved this series already is and how great of a reception the first episode got🥹

It really was the prologue and adapting it in 3 episodes would've been bad for the show and grabbing viewers. It was after that chapter that the story actually begins so can't wait for that.
