Yu-Ha-Ba-Ha is incorrect (kind of) I'm not gonna hold it against the Japanese for pronouncing it that way though since its a mashup of the Hebrew YHWH [Yahweh(Ya-Way)] which means God or "I am what I am" and the German Wach (Vah) which means awake. The closest to correct would most likely be Yahweh and is much easier to pronounce, imo.

It's a bit stupid, but... they're twins who both have the Y designation. But the have some distinct abilities. While they both transform into other people, it's not perfect. Loyd Lloyd is who Kenpachi fought, when he transforms, he gains a persons abilities and spiritual power. Royd Lloyd is who Yama obliterated, when he transforms, he gains person's memories and personality. Loyd is better for offense, Royd is better for infiltration.

And also, as Yhwach stated, he used up what energy he had fighting Royd Loyd. With the real Yhwach at full strength and Yama at barely any, the only slim chance of winning would've been to use up the rest of his strength and try again quickly with Bankai with the belief that it still couldn't be stolen. Hence Yama's look of resignation and defeat at the end when his last chance got stolen right from him.

Honestly...as someone who always had a meh opinion on Bleach due to some ongoing issues (namely too many fights at once, overly convenient growth in the captains, and Ichigo's OPness) even though these issues will continue in this season...I have to admit I'm actually pleasantly surprised at how things are going so far. The pacing was my main worry for this season and that's actually been handled incredibly well. All that's left is to keep things paced well and change the ending

The shot of the sword drooping down before was meant to signify that he lost his will to fight and knows there is no way he can win that battle, he realized it’s his loss and there is nothing he can do. Clearing things up (not a spoiler dw) there are two Sternritters which can copy appearances. The one who fought Kenpachi copies your appearance and powers and got killed because Kenpachi became stronger during the battle. The other twin can copy appearances and memories. Meaning he was already strong enough to body Kenpachi without copying any powers and stand toe-to-toe with Yammamoto. It also makes sense given that Royd Lloyd asked "Where are the flames?" Because in the memories of Yhwach that he copied, that's what Yammamoto originally did. So he was confused when Yammamoto pulled out something different because he had no memory of that happening. Crazy ass twist. Kubo is goated

This episode covers manga chapters 506 - 510. At least 2 new scenes were added for the anime: the prison meeting with Aizen (which was discussed but not shown in the manga), and the part with Ishida moping by the river. At least 1 manga scene was completely skipped (a brief backstory for some incredibly minor characters), along with dialogue from the fight.
