Aizen was just too smart and strong for Gin. Gin joined Aizen because he knew how big of a threat Aizen was to Soul Society and he wanted to keep Rangiku safe, so he would have more information on Aizen if he joined Aizen, but Gin only wanted to protect Rangiku and if given the chance, to kill Aizen.

And what's razy is i read up to this point in the manga but thought it was convoluted and kinda forced, but having the flashbacks and stuff made it make sense to me! 2022-12-28 21:06:41 +0000 UTCbruh rewatching old bleach after thsi reveal was a whole another level of enjoyment because of how much we know now. one of the craziest things ive always had on my mind was that moment vs kenpachi at the very beginning. the final attack, Ichigo's spirtual pressure turned into the hollow skull and im like "isnt that kind of ominous?" and afterwards assumed it was just his hollow powers leaking out. which it was but now we know it wasnt simply the hollow but rather it was his actual zanpakto spirit since he said "Zangetsu, lets fight togther" or something along those lines. man this shit was crazy

I still kinda don’t get all the way how he’s his soul reaper power as well but I have a vague understanding. Obviously he’d be 100% his hollow power but is it because the way Aizen made White? he layered soul reaper souls together with a hollow so maybe that’s it?? Someone lmk if I’m on the right track lol

2022-12-28 05:21:51 +0000 UTCI actually took that as an indication of just how persistent Old man Zangetsu was in hiding the fact that he was not Ichigo's true zanpakuto and the fact that he was affected by muramasa means that he played his role very well. Not to mention it explains why Hollow Ichigo told Ichi not to use his mask while they fought, because he could not provide the energy for both. It was either zanpakuto mode or hollow mask. At least that's my opinion of it.

Unless you aggressively analyze an opening most of the spoilers might fly right past you. Like yea Uryu is shown with the Stern Ritter in the opening, but honestly my eyes never even move to him, I’m always trying to look at the smaller characters in the frame Same for ichigos two swords, they are briefly shown in the opening, but unless you are really staring at it you probably won’t even notice he’s holding two swords Lupa and Sheera watched the opening and didn’t notice any of these things, if they watched it more they might have, but there’s no telling

Technically Ichigo isn't the only one with two zanpakuto and the other people had both zanpakuto spirits pulled out.

Kenpachi represented instinct and so did his hollow, but since he would never accept his hollow (not knowing what it truly was,) he always embraced his Quincy powers, which could be seen as his reasoning. They even showed both of them training in parallel in this arc

Everything but the Rain + The Blade IS Me is the culmination of not only Ichigo’s character arc but the very plot of Bleach as a whole as this was foreshadowed back in the first arc in Ep 20 what Ichigo first met “Zangetsu” he tried to call out his name but there was a blurred bubbling sound, and in the manga his name was crossed out as Yhwach, so not only is it a casual “How I met your mother”/Romeo and Juliet romance story but the very balanced genesis and salvation of who we are, our conflicting personalities/souls at war with one another finally finding peace as the holy trinity from an identity crisis. Bleach has single-handedly made every Monday feel like an event and has officially become the greatest comeback return in anime history thus far as well as one of the best adaptations that any anime could hope for as it became the highest rated anime on IMDB, 9 week streak on Anime Corner as a popularity poll and possibly it’s anime of the season/year, and although not credible, even the 1st top spot on MAL 3 Effing times during these past 2 1/2 months in a matter of only 10+ Eps, not seen before since AOT, all while despite countless people catching up with the OG anime and not being able to see it outside of English speaking countries, meaning lack of availability unlike with others that have no setbacks!” -Truth Now as for my thoughts, Imagine instead of Kurama, Naruto had a younger Madara or rather Hashirama/Ashura, and Luffy having either Joyboy be the related essence of Im Sama or Shanks being his inspirational need to break him down for the one piece in their psyches, fathering them just to have it be revealed to be their greatest threat that they must now face for the sake of their very existence and that’s a similar situation to this.
