Maybe it’s the extra shading and lighting which is due to the Director but again that was approved by Kubo himself. It really helped show what kind of person Lieutenant Sasakibe was and how dedicated he was to the Head captain. I was hoping the anime would have time to adapt everything AND flesh out the story more (and possibly include scenes from the light novel), but as expected, such a feat is too much for a 52 episode adaption.

Not sure if it was cause he just didn't notice but, I actually want to praise one of these jokes for once. It was just so smoothly implemented. It was used as the transition from Nel talking about the Tres Bestia, to reintroduce us to them, to cut us back to the action and was a joke done in the middle of that action. It never stopped the pace of what was going on but flowed smoothly and was used to have a little banter between the characters. It sounds like a silly thing to praise, but instead of a hard cut away, it was done so nicely and honestly I think that is one of many things that shows just how much time and love they are putting into Bleach's big return.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people were worried about this specifically because the Bleach anime had a bad habit of toning down the severity of people's injuries. Like how they changed Gin's zanpakuto doing damage to Hiyori. The anime, she was just basic stabbed with the worst you can think happening being she was stabbed in her spine. The manga, he straight sliced her in half so fast she didn't even notice til she looked backwards and saw the whole bottom half of her body plummeting to the streets with her still in the sky. I remember some brutal things that happened in the manga. Let's keep them brutal and gorey.

Regarding what you said tho, yes I’ve read the CSM manga but the only real reason it’s as popular as it is because the whole medium has never been more popular than it is now and the author has many other works so there are multiple fandoms of each of those works coming together, not to mention that it’s brand new so you know it’ll be trendy. Now JoJos part 6 like all other parts have been a faithful adaptation and if you know what lies ahead with it’s 3rd and final batch, then you know what’s coming and how it all wraps up. CSM is below that cause JoJos is simply a superior series, literally it’s own genre that even inspired the way CSM is structured.

CSM is probably the only one with a chance if you’ve read the manga you know how intense the story is and how well written and fleshed out the characters are in a way not super common in any manga or anime (there’s a reason it had such a cult following early on and has blown up the way it has even before becoming an anime) not even mentioning the top tier animation, I still think Bleach will win but only way CSM is under Jojo part 6 is if they fucked up adapting it somehow.

I'm satisfied with the additional anime-canonical scenes of Halibel, showing the lead up to Hueco Mundo's downfall. The art of Soul Society is so beautiful it almost makes me cry when we transition away after only 20s scenes 😭

Himmler was one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany and a main architect of the Holocaust, he was literally the representative Nazi soldier appointed by Hitler himself. As you can tell, he is a Quincy representative and will showcase what they are fully and basically capable of like Uryu on variety steroids in these next couple of episodes. Also gotta say, Hueco Mundo can’t seem to catch a break, first Barragan as the hollow equivalent of death ruled over it and got fucked over by Aizen and since then Harribel took over as the Hollow/Arrancar queen and now got fucked over by the Quincy king, like goddamn man. Oh and “After seeing the opening It’s official: this is anime of the year based on what they’re going to adapt. In terms of storytelling/plot twisting narrative it’s game over for everything else. Peak fiction of the highest motherfucking degree. This year practically belongs to BLEACH. The only thing that might even dare to come close, if not be beyond it is JoJos part 6 finale along with it’s OG continuity this December. In terms of views/popularity however, it seems to be in CSM‘s favor cause of GenZ that has taken over the anime community in numbers that are only focused on NewGen anime. Apparently there’s still countless people that can’t watch Bleach TYBW outside of english speaking countries legally and even to those that can watch it are still catching up with the OG anime, so unfortunately it’s being held back in views but doing better in ratings at least.”- Truth
