You know, how we usually put blue for boys and pink for girls? Japan didn't have that until after WWII. He is highly creative and uses whatever suits him to be able to fit the bizarre in his story. We need to stop looking at other countries' culture as if it's the same as our own.

I imagine that's the reason he went with more femininity as opposed to the overt masculinity in earlier parts. Araki also mentions Part 8 is meant to be erotic which is one of the few Jojo parts to focus on male/female eroticism. So I'm guessing he uses the homoeroticism and weird gender stuff as a way of being bizarre. That's why Jolyene and Ermes are so masculine as opposed to his usual female designs. Another thing to note as well is that, Araki uses fashion models (male and female) for his designs, so that is where a lot of the feminine males come from lol.

Which is why I can't help but to speculate that buddy was or is fairly homosexual. Maybe bi, but that's not the point. The consistent mix of feminism and masculinity in most characters is what drives that thought the most. Araki SUPPOSEDLY called this part "Boring" and wished to skip to the next part instead in the anime. I think this was the part of his life he was imagining his feminine side "breaking out", so to speak. I believe dude has a wife, but I know I'm not the first to speculate. This whole part just feels like a metaphor to me, ya know?π±βπ
