I know we can’t expect them to catch everything but sometimes it feels like they’re constantly looking away from the actual episode or are too busy cracking jokes rather than reading and comprehending the subtitles so they miss entire important details and then call it confusing when the show outright tells them things. Sure most of the abilities aren’t that straightforward but they still give you most of the pieces to figure it out.

This is how he was able to dig up Pucci as a memory and look at his belongings like Weather Reports memory Disc. In the manga when Versus gets hung up by Jolynes string, he swipes Puccis coat to steal the disc disc. This was briefly shown in the anime, but not to the sane extent.
