been in my sketchbook recently...lots of big emotions and i forgot it kind of helps to vomit them out so i feel like ive "done something" about it.

commission freebies

i had to throw these in after taking so long to get my orders together. going forward i think it would be nice to make a "commissioner only" freebie like a saucy pinup postcard, although im still working that out. doing hand drawn thank you's like these are a fun touch but one i dont think ill be able to keep up forever, so maybe ill keep it for repeat commissioners, or let the drawings themselves be simpler.

also idk why these are hornier than usual :| or actually i do. anyways!!!

not sure how i feel just yet but ive been wanting to switch out my old one for quite a long time. i feel like i need to create a matching banner yet before i commit.

Sketchbook stuff

im trying to relearn how to draw at the moment!

ive never felt super confident in my figure drawing and its something i think i can improve on for the rest of 2025 at least. its hard to make people look how they look, and really hard to bridge the cartoony style i use for comics/animation with it. id like to find some sort of synergy there, even though at this point im using art as a tool to tell jokes mostly.

also my strep came back (lol) last week and it took me out again but...

so i went to the eagle in LA with some friends and got strep, which is why after sadposting i disappeared for a second. it was brutal and i suffered and im pretty sure it was a punishment from god. the only good thing to come out of it was i finally started watching sex and the city! im almost done season 2, its very inspiring actually and i get why this is the gay mans citizen kane.

Hey all! I apologize for going awol for a bit, my retail job ended last Thursday and right after I got caught up in some very short but crunchy animation freelance, but I'm back now and ready to finish up commissions and get back to the g r i n d.

ok so my new retail job put me in an evil mental place and i felt i NEEDED to prove to myself i could still make decent art so i ended up over rendering these...im going to need to adjust my process so im not so burnt out for the others but the pencil texture is 100% staying. i love the storybook feeling it adds!

hi! so i was able to get a new job packing orders at a retail company and this was my first week, causing a delay in uploading my comic. i will try to get the rest of the pages out as soon as i can but ill need to prioritize my day job and commissions first. i think i can maintain a once a week uploading schedule here at the very least, ill let you all know if things change.
