2022-12-17 23:09:35 +0000 UTCI don't want to explain stuff because it's complicated and might spoil the next episode but just watch a yt video called "The Science of Weather Report" it fully explains how the power works and other things like the beetles and why they don't turn into snails. Araki probably read some crazy books or weird sciene facts and incorporate them in a stand because there is no way a human naturally comes up with such a weird power, legit the only thing I can think of.

I can only imagine he must've read some sciene magazines or came across really weird sciene facts and wanted to base a stand power around this stuff because they tie into eachother so well but well... it is still weird. Something that won't be explained for example is how every organism turns into snails except those beetles for some reason and that because it's really weird niche knowledge about the properties of elytras (the thin transparent "wings" beetles have) but if I explain more it's spoiler territory for the upcoming episodes. I just wanted to say that all this seems random and even with the next episodes there are still many seemingly random things happening but araki really based a whole stand power on a few random sciene facts and never explained it which makes it suuuuuper random. Araki just went crazy idk why he has to make his stands incorporate so many things, I love it but I also hate it.

2022-12-17 18:41:03 +0000 UTCunderworld excavates memories from the earth... hence - why the buried knife was randomly unearthed and versus fell on it - why the dead skull came out when he was peeing - how he was able to see where pucci hid the disk by unearthing a previous memory of pucci. so when jolyne punched him, he took it from pucci as he flew by him - how he was able to unearth jolyne from 2 episodes ago and discover what she said about emporio... thus learning about emporio. etc etc the heavy weather part will be explained in the next two episodes. the abilities get more complicated/niche with each part i feel. please for these last episodes pay a bit more attention than usual or you'll def be lost (i promise i mean this nicely lol). dont want yall's confusion to mess w your enjoyment and end up just saying "ah it's jojos shit just happens" bc the remaining episodes are mind fucks but imo are explained well (for jojos) and is actually kinda deep. i think this is one of my favorite parts upon a rewatch. maybe 7, 4, 6, 2, 8, 5, 1, 3

Moody Blues turns into a person and can replay their Past but needs more time the longer ago it was, Underworld can Manifest/replay past events in the present (based on the concept of the Earth remembering everything), and depending on the scale/nature of the event, he can also trap others in them.
