All of the JoJo's are this way, hence why they get such strong connections with their allies. These bastard sons of DIO are all listless and have no internal strength, so they were drawn to Pucci's strong will.

2022-12-14 14:19:06 +0000 UTCi loved this fight. the strength and resolve of jolyne, sky high is a super interesting stand, and her opponent was growing mid match too. imo both of them lighting themselves on fire was cool to see. remember that talking is a free action in jojo so rikiel was on fire for like 3 seconds maybe before he put it out. yes those are his sons. it's how jolyne and weather report are able to sense them bc of the star connection. it's also how they felt drawn to pucci a couple episodes ago. for ppl wondering why giornio didnt show up - im copy pasting something from the manga in the comment below (it's one of those character bio things. rikiel's specifically) rikiel's statement of why even jolyne, someone without DIO's DNA, would be drawn to cape canaveral makes sense - the joestar bloodline has been impacted by DIO in some way in all 6 parts so far. they seem fated to always be battling. i think he is also alluding to pucci as this person who is above all, achieving "heaven" and thus everyone for and against him is ultimately serving his purpose. and jolyne is potentially fated to be someone who helps him achieve his goal. he's basically saying "you think youre saving your dad and beating pucci but you have no free will and this is all fated to happen to serve pucci and dio's will of achieving heaven"

Because of the Father Pucci Thematic and him beeing a priest spreading the glory of dio I though they were called dio's sons just like we are "god's sons", so dio represents god and they are his chosen "sons" that will carry out his will etc. Never thought they are actually his biological bastard children so you guys aren't the only ones confused about it.

It was confirmed in ep 26 (I’m pretty sure 80% of the comments tried to tell you that) and now it was mentioned again in this episode. I’m glad Roshi noticed it though.

But they cut it from the anime because, well, he never shows up anyway, so it was kind of a pointless tease. It's also implied that ALL of Dio's sons were drawn to Florida due to Pucci. Dio definitely has more then 3 children over his years of living, so we can assume that there were many more in Florida too, but they just weren't plot relevant like these 3 were.

For Pucci, the whole process with the Green Baby (who had a star cuz it was born from Dio's bone) gave Pucci his star. Lastly, for Weather Report, he is Pucci's biological brother apparently, so when Pucci gained his star, so did Weather. Which is why they can all sense each other.

2022-12-13 23:14:29 +0000 UTCI gotta say that if even the YaBoyRoshi crew are having trouble catching onto something so clearly simple that was mentioned at least a couple times and is rather obvious, I’m concerned about how they’ll take and handle the ending which is basically in general a info bombshell overdrive, it’s fine if they find it confusing just so long as they don’t feel like it takes away from either enjoyment or the actual objective quality of the series in their final ranking judgment. Granted I’m sure they know that this series at this point has long been beyond compare no matter what it does.
